"Hop on? How?.. Where?!" I asked Rubeus, the white dragon, who just spoke to me in my head.

I was in a panic and bewildered state, that I didn't know what to do, what to think, or who I'm even talking to.

Here, climb at my back.

Rubeus answered in my head at the same time lowering his back for me to climb to.

I was battling with myself whether I should follow his orders or not.

Survival instincts getting the better of me, I climbed his rocky and scaly back with effort and settled at a not-so-rocky part of his body. Apparently, my gut instincts tell me to ride a dragon for my own safety.
Great.

Say the word, Corde. He spoke in my head.

Not knowing what he meant, I just did what I was told.

"Corde!" I said aloud, trembling.

Instantly, a glowing magical rope appeared in front of me, just like in Master Edsley's memory when he rode Lumena with me as a baby.

I held on to it for dear life, as Rubeus started ascending to the sky.

Puffs of white clouds greeted me as we soared higher.
Holy Shii- Am I actually riding a dragon?? In a dress!?

I held on to the ropes tightly, as the adrenaline rushed through my body. I should've changed into battle clothes. I never knew this would happen!

That's what you call 'Grace under Pressure', Rubeus replied to my thoughts, jokingly, and I thought I heard him laugh.

I just smiled sheepishly in return, not knowing whether to laugh or cry as I am probably a hundred meters up in the sky.

When I was on earth, I never had the chance to ride a roller coaster or any amusement rides that involves getting hurled up in the sky, coz I always studied or slept the weekends away. Now, I think the universe feels like I needed a little bit of fun.. but with my life on the line.

Once we were able to get a clear view of the battle happening below, Rubeus decided to descend towards the fighting soldiers.

"Please don't hurt them too much, just enough for them to leave." I requested, worry evident in my voice.

As you wish, Princess.

We went down the ground while I was doing my best not to fall from his back. He bellowed fire on the Soccorians' carriage filled with their weapons, as I continued holding on to the magical rope.

Upon seeing the white dragon and the new commotion that occurred, the Soccorians started backing up a little. Their commander then blew a horn that sounded creepy, like it was calling something.

True enough, the black dragon from a while ago, rose among the thick canopy of trees surrounding the Center. It flew up in the air and lunged at Rubeus and me.

Oh dear God.

I held the rope tighter in my hands, as I prepared myself to meet death.

The black dragon roared louder than ever, as if it was never been angrier.

He bellowed fire on us, but Rubeus was quick enough to dodge it.

"What are dragons' weaknesses?" I shouted midair at Rubeus, while we were trying to avoid being hit by the black dragon's attacks.

Any part of its body, not covered in scales. The neck, chest, and ankles. He answered.

I thought of landing a blow to the dragon's chest but that would be too difficult, as I would have to face the dragon head on, and I'm currently in a roller coaster ride right now.
