Taylor pulled away from Travis's embrace, blushing with a smile on her face.

"Goodnight", Taylor said in a happy voice.

"Goodnight Tay", Travis replied, smiling back.

Taylor lay in bed that night staring at the ceiling. It felt almost wrong to move on from Joe considering he was Kayden's father. But she knew that Travis was a good man and he wouldn't hurt Kayden. In fact, Travis was acting more like a father to Kayden than Joe ever did.

She went to sleep that night with a smile plastered in her brain, re-imagining the night's previous events.

Taylor woke up the next morning with butterflies in her stomach. She had a date with Travis that evening and she was both excited and nervous about it.

Taylor smiled, remembering the feel of Travis's warm lips on hers and how gentle he was.

Suddenly, her bedroom door swung open and Kayden entered the room in his footie pajamas, his blue special blanket trailing behind him.

"Mommy!" the two-year-old exclaimed. He climbed on his mother's bed and cuddled against her bosom.

"Hi buddy. Did you sleep good last night?" Taylor asked as she held her toddler close.

Kayden nodded his head of blonde messy curls. "I climb out of my crib", Kayden giggled.

"Yes you did. It's about time I switch you to a big boy bed", Taylor stated, kissing Kayden's forehead.

"A big boy bed?" Kayden asked excitedly.

"Yeah. You're turning three in August, so it's about time", Taylor smiled. "Gosh, I can't believe my baby boy is turning three in six months. You were just in my belly", Taylor said with nostalgia.

"Mommy, I no baby", Kayden giggled.

"Yes you are". Taylor tickled Kayden's tummy, causing him to roar with laughter.

"I big boy!" Kayden got out through loud giggles.

"No. You're still in my belly", Taylor joined in, taking a break tickling her son as his face turned red.

"You eat me?" Kayden asked, suddenly serious. It was funny how fast Kayden's emotions could change.

"No, I didn't eat you. Remember, when babies are really little they grow in their mommy's belly. But you're big now", Taylor explained, making sure her son knew that she didn't eat him as a baby.

"Ya, but I big boy now", Kayden stated, jumping on the bed.

"Come on you monkey. Let's go make some pancakes for breakfast", Taylor said, scooping the two year old up in her arms before she went to the kitchen.

After breakfast, Taylor combed through Kayden's messy blonde curls and got him dressed in black cargo pants and his Joe Burrow football jersey. The reason Kayden even owned a football jersey was because Taylor's dad had reached out to her around Christmas time asking for Kayden's favorite player, and Taylor just googled attractive football players and Joe Burrow was the winner. Even if he had the same name as Kayden's dad.

"Oh, shoot", Taylor muttered, realizing that she had forgotten to call a sitter.

Taylor dialed Selena's number.

"Hello?" Selena answered.

"Hey, I have a favor to ask", Taylor began, knowing that Selena wasn't too keen on children, even if she was a teacher.
