Cold dark nights are the worst. Or the worst in Naruto's opinion. Though it's a valid opinion when your AC hasn't been working for the past Week.

"Ugh When will jiji get the landlord to fix it..." A seven year old Naruto complained to himself

(Why does Naruto have to wait for someone else to fix it you ask? Well you see Naruto has been an orphan for his entire life. his parents seemingly dying or abandoning him after the Kyuubi attack that nearly destroyed the village 7 years ago.)

naruto Sighs as he looks at his alarm clock and sees the time is 12 at night says "Another late night I suppose... might as well go for a walk to tire myself out."

As the blonde boy arose from his bed and grabbed his signature orange and blue jumpsuit as he walked out the door of his house into the cold night watching his surroundings for any stray villagers or Shinobi sneaking surprisingly well for a kid in a bright orange jumpsuit

After walking for a good 30 minutes he soon reaches the empty merchant district and decides to enter looking around at the empty stalls and stores as he keeps watch for any other life as he soon stops in his tracks as he hears a strange heartbeat like thump to his side down an alley as he feels compelled to follow

Naruto takes an involuntary step in its direction before he stops himself and says "I... should leave. That... Probably wasn't anything good..." As he takes a step back and throws one last look down the alley before he freezes and sees a faint blue glow down the alley as he bites his lip in hesitation before he decides to follow it as he says "Welp... I might die like a horror movie character..."

As he walks down the alley the light seems to dim for when he reaches it the light seems to be a solidified Crystalline Sword plunged in the ground as he feels compelled to reach out

Once he touches it the sword pulses and floats into the air and flies into his chest piercing him as he freezes while it sinks into him as after it seems to merge with his body he feels his chest where it pierced him only to feel no wound as he looks at where he was stabbed only to see a strange marking as he looks around confused to see if anyone put a genjutsu on him as he tries to recall the words of his teacher Iruka

"ok... What did he say? To break a genjutsu... Either disrupt your own or the enemies chakra or.... Simplest way is... pain." As he slaps himself and opens his eyes and still sees the same mark "Ok not a genjutsu..." He looks Around again before he decides to go home as he begins his 30 minute trek back

(30 minutes later)

As he opens the door he feels a pang of drowsiness hit him like a tidal wave as he stumbles before he shuts the door and collapses on his bed and closes his eyes allow the darkness to take him

Naruto feels sudden discomfort under him feeling a cool tile as he opens his eyes expecting to see his ceiling only to see a white roof with intricate diamond shapes as he sits up and finds himself in a white room with the walls covered in intricate vine like designs as he stands and sees the sword floating in the middle of the room except this time it's not made of crystal he goes closer to the sword and inspects it as he recalls the academy lessons on kenjutsu and swords

The longer he looks the more he notices about the blade

The Blade is sleek and slightly curved with a bluish-silver hue with intricate designs etched along its length

Its hilt is decorated with a dark blue grip and golden accents

While it's guard is quite unique with a design that resembles a pair of wings or curved horns

"definitely not a Konoha made blade... I wonder where it came from?" Says naruto as he reaches out to grab it this time before he feels a hand on his shoulder as a young yet mature voice says

???: "I wouldn't touch what you don't understand child."

As Naruto slowly turns and looks at the person and sees a young man with brown almost black spiky hair and with Piercing Blue eyes And an all black outfit made of a short-sleeved jacket, a t-shirt, and cargo pants
???: "Seriously you shouldn't touch it. They drain your energy to use them."

As slowly Naruto nods and pulls his hand back as the man takes his own away from Naruto's shoulder as he steps back and examines the boy as he says
???: "How'd you even get here kid? You shouldn't be able to access this place at all."

Naruto: "I don't know... I found that sword down an alley in village."

As the man looks shocked and says
???: "Did it merge with you?"
As Naruto nods and says
"that's the simplest way of saying it flew and stabbed itself into my chest."
As the stranger flinches and says "Yeah that tracks. Okay then I can work with this I suppose. Kid. My name is Noctis lucis caelum and if what you said about the sword merging with you is true then it's my job to train you in how to use it. but first you'll need a history lesson of my Home."

If Naruto made any sort of annoyed sound Noctis ignored it
