Sunlight is much appreciated in the hilly regions for as the weather always turns gloomy all year round. Adapted to the scorching city weather, Amara found herself delighted to feel the highly unusual cool daylight and she decided to do a little outing alone on a Wednesday afternoon.
Rose left for work early as usual and she thought she'd do some shopping around the market and perhaps take a sip of coffee under the big banyan trees.
"These used to be filled with tourists....and man..I guess the economy had really brought us down..."Amara said to herself holding the takeaway in her hands.
The hundred year old banyan trees stood tall and magnificent under the sun, their gigantic roots and branches spreading across like mounds unto the grass, some as big as a bus. The presence of ancient quintessence completes their look.
Just as she was about to leave, she heard a familiar voice in an argument around the small vendors.
"Please...please Shwe..what did I do wrong..just tell me what did I do wrong."
"Well you're doing it right now..."
Amara hid behind one of a very few tourist buses that was parked near her to take a peek. And she was shocked to see Arkar and Shwe Eaindra getting in a huge fight beside a trailer car.
Arkar's black sedan was also parked just beside them.
Shwe Eaindar had an ignorant expression on her face while Arkar looked like he's about to cry like a 5 year old. He kept trying to hold Shwe's hand while the girl repeatedly moved away from him.
"Shwe...please...can't you see I'm begging you?"
"So..? that doesn't explain your actions Arkar."
"My actions..?", he said panting.
"Yes..you...your actions Arkar..a famous celebrity like me needs a considerate partner..not some petty boy who thinks he owns me...."
Arkar bit down his lips.
"When did I ever do...ohh...is this about the incident at the gala Shwe..? the guy was literally touching your waist!!! Am I not allowed to stop it as your boyfriend?"
"He's the owner of the Aria bank..Arkar...a gentleman.."
"He's married !!!...would you rather be touched inappropriately by someone like him?"
Shwe Eaindra scoffed, her lips twitched to the side, "We're in the crowd..and we're just being civilized. there's nothing inappropriate about that.."
Amara narrowed her eyes and listened more carefully. Inside her heart, she felt satisfied to see Arkar being ditched like that, by Shwe Eaindra.
"After what he's done to Rose..the guy deserves even more..", Amara whispered to herself.
Arkar's face was heated up in red and he looked really miserable which Amara applauded.
Shwe Eaindra on the other hand, doesn't look like she gives a damn about Arkar and that she looked like she wanted to get rid of him as soon as possible.
"Now you see the problem Arkar...you do not cherish me for who I am and you're being inconsiderate. I thought you'd be better than this..." she smirked, crossing her hands. Arkar looked already defeated under her words.
"We're over Arkar....Do not call me or come to see me ever again..."
"Shwe...please, I can make it up to you..."
Arkar tried to hold on to her but Shwe Eaindra yanked out her wrist and pushed Arkar like a stray dog and got onto her car. The car doors were locked immediately as she got on and it drove off no matter how hard Arkar tried to stop it.
