chapter 18 - the cafe

After the fight with Elijah mod really had his work cut out for him that night he laid in bed and thought what would have happened if Angel never came and they fought Elijah would they all be dead who knows

The next day rolls around and mod is getting ready to meet Elijah at the cafe and while he's leaving radio and Mary are fighting about who's gonna be the one to see mod off and mod just looks at them and walks past them without them even realizing that he's leaving

And then he leaves and goes to the human world where he is greeted by Bronson instead of Elijah and Bronson says Elijah is waiting at the cafe for you let me take you there and Bronson turns into a car and mod is a little bit hesitant about this but gets in the car and it drives on its own Bronson and mod then have a conversation about Elijah because he's very mysterious no one but him and Bronson know what his real powers are

And Bronson tells him that Elijah is someone that likes to fight and wants more power and will do anything for it he will even kill people for it no matter who it is and then he but besides that Elijah does care about the people he meets and will protect them but first you must show him that he needs to care for you or he's not gonna care

Mod then ask Bronson since you are like his right hand man I assume you know what's going on here and why these people are so oblivious to what's going on and why the sky looks so fake in a way I assume you've noticed it

Bronson then says well that's classified info if you really wanna know ask Elijah he might tell you then they arrive at the cafe and mod gets out and Bronson drives away listening to sicko mode by Travis Scott then mod walks up to the cafe and can sense the power different in the normal people with powers vs Elijah it's like a overwhelming stench of death snd kindness but more death he then follows it and sees Elijah looking out the window

Mod then comes over and sits with him Elijah then looks over and Elijah says "you wanting to be friends with me is kinda crazy and I'm honestly surprised you do by the way what took you so long to come here and talk Milo told me a month or a year I don't remember anymore but that was 4 years ago so what happened"

Mod hesitates if he wants to tell Elijah about the multivers but he then says "we had to deal with someone, someone that could possibly rival you if I'm being honest" Elijah then looks more interesting and said "no one can rival me I am the one and only Elijah the strongest would you like to test that" mod then says "sure but no one dies" Elijah then agrees to these terms and Elijah snapped his fingers and a mirror world of the real one os made and Elijah said"I've set rules to this if one of us is about to die time will reset snd the dimension will explode and fix all the damage done"

Then Elijah says you go first and mod pulls out a sword from his hand Elijah then throws the cup of tea at mod and snaps his fingers teleporting him outside and he starts running slower than he normally would then mod cuts his way out the cafe and runs after Elijah

Elijah going slow wanting mod to chase him he then mod breaks up his sword with his metal manipulation and throws the pieces at Elijah he then sees this and dodges then then mod breaks them up even smaller and then they go back to trying to hit Elijah one of them hits him and goes through his oil into his skin

Elijah then notices that these aren't any normal  pieces of metal and then Elijah snaps his fingers and he says this is something new I've been working on and then the portal swallowe mod but it's blank nothing in it and mod wonders what could it be and then the dimension in the portal starts to morph into something new and Elijah then creates a being that can turn into people's worst nightmare

And then the being turns into angel mod then looks very scared because he thinks it's real he thinks he somehow found a way through there seal then angel says "you thought you could lock me away well then think again" Elijah then made the being act and have the same powers as the person he's thinking of but when Elijah did

Elijah understood why he's stronger than Elijah then before angel could do anything Elijah then snaps his fingers and the being vanishes and the dimension gets turned into a flouting office where mod and Elijah are having a talk

Elijah says "while you were fighting that guy I got those pieces of metal out of me but besides that I understand why he's more powerful than me"

Elijah then goes on to ask for the guys name and mod says angel Elijah looks shocked by that and says "I was supposed to have a brother named Angel but he died during birth his body couldn't handle the power he was given at least that's what my parents said when they were alive"

Mod says "so what happened to them" Elijah replies with "well what happened was that they all died from me little did you know that I have a power that I have to hide and if I don't just being near me will kill you your probably wondering if it's a curse if anything is a blessing because the power steals people's powers and gives them to me my mom died giving birth to me"

Mod then ask why didn't you go back and save them and Elijah says "because I never knew them so I never cared to save them"

Elijah then says I have a bunch of people's powers from my family I don't like to use them because there not mine but I'll show you one which I really favor because it's interesting"

Elijah then puts his hand out and everything changes and mod can feel the shift and it's so strong that it even affected the multivers he rewrote the multivers and how things are supposed to be he calls it absolute time manipulation the strongest one of them all

Elijah then breaks the dimension and they go to the real world Elijahs ideal world mod sees It and is blown away by what's going on Elijah gave him a book of the history of how this timeline is different in this world Elijah never had his death power Angel was born and Elijahs family was the strongest family and since Elijah never met Bronson in this universe he never had his oil and he never felt the need to have more power

In this universe every one from the robot kidz team had a normal life savio became a park ranger Bronson became a internationaly known scientist and Nikki she stayed in her home town Ajay and his friends became the best ninjas and in this universe alydrian and Jerome had different powers as in all the other universes Elijah never was able to confess and confront his feelings to his lover so he bioengineered his children with Bronsons help but they weren't friends like in the other one

But mod read something that disturbed his soul he read that in this universe mod, snowy and coffee are all dead and was killed by Elijahs family Elijah looked at him and said "so how do you like this ideal world"

Mod replayed falsely with "oh it's amazing I want this" but little did Elijah on that mod was lying and then Elijah snaps his fingers and the world goes back to the other universe and Elijah says "I'll be seeing you around but remember I'm always watching"

Mod didn't believe that but went along with it and Elijah disappeared leaving mod in the cafe where they were before the fight started and mod then left as well
