.☘︎ ݁˖A Winter's Warmth and a New Beginning.☘︎ ݁˖

Upon reaching Drum Island, the crew was met with a chilling atmosphere, the island's snowy landscape, a stark contrast to the warmth of their previous adventures. Nami's illness weighed heavily on everyone's minds, and they wasted no time seeking medical assistance.
Dr. Kureha, renowned for her medical expertise, welcomed them to her clinic. Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji anxiously awaited news of Nami's condition while helping out around the clinic as best they could. Sanji, as always, tried to impress the girls with his dance moves but found himself more focused on doing whatever Luffy asked, earning a bit of jealousy from Zoro.
When Dr. Kureha took Nami for treatment, Luffy decided to scale the mountain to seek more help, carrying both Sanji, who had been injured in the fight with the snow bears, and Nami. The climb was gruelling, with Luffy pushing his body to the limit to save his friends. Upon reaching the top, they encountered Chopper, the reindeer doctor, and the two doctors, Chopper and Dr. Kureha began treating Nami.
During their stay, Luffy quickly developed a fascination with Chopper, mistaking him for a cute stuffed toy and constantly showering him with affection. Chopper, initially uncomfortable with the constant hugs, found it hard to resist Luffy's warmth and genuine kindness. The other crew members, seeing how Luffy and Chopper interacted, also longed for the warmth but knew better than to ask for a hug from the often shy reindeer.
As Chopper began to open up, Dr. Hiriluk's former assistant, Dr. Kureha and the rest of the villagers started to notice the bond forming between Luffy and Chopper. The heartwarming sight of Luffy's unwavering care for Chopper touched everyone, especially Dr. Kureha, who grew increasingly fond of the Straw Hat captain.
When it came time for Chopper to decide whether to join Luffy's crew, he was torn between his duty on Drum Island and his newfound friends. Ultimately, Luffy's boundless enthusiasm and the promise of adventure convinced Chopper to join the crew.
As they prepared to leave Drum Island, the crew gathered to bid farewell to Dr. Kureha and the villagers. Dr. Kureha, couldn't help but smile as she saw Chopper with Luffy.
With Chopper now a part of the crew, they set sail once more. During the voyage, Chopper often found himself the target of Luffy's affectionate hugs, much to his initial embarrassment but eventual acceptance. The other crew members watched these interactions with a mixture of amusement and envy, but knew better than to interrupt the touching moments.
As the Going Merry sailed toward Alabasta, Luffy and his crew looked forward to the next adventure. Luffy, resting his head on Zoro's lap, smirked as he caught sight of the desert island on the horizon. Zoro, trying to hide his own smile, looked down at his captain, ready for whatever came next.
Chopper, still adjusting to life on the sea, found himself increasingly comfortable with his new family. He sat close to Luffy, enjoying the warmth of his friends. As they neared Alabasta, the crew knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together, stronger than ever before.
