A long day has passed at the Jade Palace, with the Dragon Warrior ever so slightly tired whilst munching on a dumpling by the kitchen table.

"You tired, Dragon Warrior?" a black-striped orange feline asked from the other end of the table. Her name going by Master Tigress. She simply sat on her chair glaring at the monochromatic bear in front of her, whilst having nothing to listen to but his munching. You may wonder what the rest of the Furious Five were doing, it's simple. They had already eaten and they had went early to bed.

"I told you already, call me Po." Po pointed out as he threw in the remaining part of the dumpling into his mouth.

Tigress only smirked at him. "I call you whatever I want, whenever I want." she said and crossed her arms.

Po mimicked her actions and crossed his arms aswell. "Oh is that so, Master Tigress?" Po joked.

"Uh-huh." she said and nodded, keeping the smirk on her face.

Po's face went neutral. "You can just call me Po." he started. "We've been through this so many times already and you don't have to be so formal all the time." he finished and glared into her eyes, which caused her to immediately shift her gaze to the various cabinets and tables in the room, stove included.

"Po- it's just a joke, calm down a little." she said and rose her eyebrow at him.

"Ti, you are so horrible at making jokes." Po said and threw his paws into the air, which caused her to glare at him menacingly. "AH, I'm sorry." Po squealed and slowly rose from his chair. "I meant, you are good at making.. jokes..." Po said, leaving behind an awkward silence with the tiger still giving him the death-glare.

"How does a pre-bedtime run sound?" she asked, tapping a claw against her cheek.

"Not good!" Po replied and immediately sprinted out of the kitchen and out of the barracks. The panda broke through the doors to enter a mostly dark scenery, the only bright thing in the sky being the late summer sky, casting a cyan hue over the valley.

Po was quick to run around the side of the barracks and hid behind it. He cautiously looked from the side to see Tigress come out of the doors, curious as to where he had sprinted.

Po saw the feline's nose rise up to the air, letting the ursine know that she's trying to take in his scent to eventually catch him.

Po saw no escape, if she catches his scent, it's over. If he starts running, he will make a sound which in it's turn catches Tigress' ears, which in that case, is also game over.

Unless...

Po looked up to see a beam sitting against the barracks structure, higher up. Po jumped and catched onto it, lifting himself up on top of it. Tigress would impossibly look up when searching for him. Standing on the beam, he quietly navigated along the beam surrounding the barracks building.

Suddenly, Tigress was standing right below him, seemingly having no clue where he is.

"Hmm.. I wonder where the Dragon Warrior might be..." She asked herself.

Po inwardly sighed out of relief, oblivious to Tigress' tone of speaking.

He continued crouching along the beam. Looking behind him to see Tigress walk around the other corner. He continued looking there until he at last stood right above the barracks entrance. Upon looking to his right, two amber eyes were burning into his vision.

"AHH!" Po screamed, falling off the beam and landing with a heavy thud on the ground. Tigress landed beside him, sinking into a resting squat whilst glaring at him.

"Yeez, how did you do that?" Po questioned, whilst grabbing his head in pain.

"It's called stealth. Besides, I knew where you where anyway." she said, though her face turned into that of a more caring one as she asked; "Did you hit your head?"

*grunt* "yeah, it was a bit of a rough landing." Po said.

"Oh, Po.. I'm sorry. Shall I take you to the infirmary?" she asked, holding his head up with her right paw.

"No, I'm fine."

"You don't seem like it."

"Tigress I'm fine. No need to worry."

Her ears sunk. "Alright, once again, sorry."

"No problem, it wasn't really your fault because I chose to go up there and I didn't consider the risk."

"Po, I was still the one who scared you. You wouldn't have fallen if it weren't for me."

"Tigress stop blaming yourself. It was purely my fault. I will be more careful next time. I promise."

"O- okay." she said and gave in. She rose up and handed him her paw, he took it and let himself be lift up. Once he stood on his legs, he brushed any potential dirt that might've gotten stuck on his pants after his fall.

"I'm kinda tired. Shall we go to sleep?" the panda asked.

"Yes."

"Alright."

The duo headed up the stairs and into the hall where the Furious Five plus the Dragon Warrior resided. Po slid the door to his room open and upon trying to close it, he felt something block it. He looked back to see what it was. A paw.

"Tigress?"

She opened the door further. "I'm gonna sleep here for the night." she said, a slight smirk appearing on the side of her lips.

"Wait what? In my room?"

"Yeah."

"Uhh, I mean.. well..??" the panda began, before getting cut off by the feline. "If the Dragon Warrior doesn't reject the offer, that is."

"I mean... sssurre?" he finally said.

"Great." she said and moved past him, closing the door behind her.

"But why though?" Po finally muttered out.

"Because you hit your head. If you for some reason happen to have had a real injury or something, perhaps even a concussion or just a small nightmare, I'll be there for you, right on spot." she said, a smile apparent on her face.

Gods, how Po adored that feline. The usually stoic, independent warrior had her cute sides aswell, and he felt lucky that he was pretty much the only one she's opened up this much to.

Po laid onto his bed, with Tigress following shortly after.

The panda closed his eyes as he felt the feline slowly start rubbing up against him, her right arm reaching over him and bringing him further into the late-night embrace.

"Goodnight, Po." she silently spoke out.

"Goodnight, Ti."
