The next morning we get ready to head to the Circulation Gate.
"Now listen Y/n," Race says "I's want you's to stay behind me's and Jack."
"Race I's'll be fine." I groan
"Y/n." Jack says warningly turning around.
"Fine" I sigh
We all start singing.
"Open the gates and seize the day,
Don't be afraid and don't delay.
Nothing can break us,
No one can make us,
Give our rights away.
Arise and seize the day!"The gate opens and we stand there looking at the scabbers.
Davey starts chanting. "Join us, join us!"
A few of them throw their papers down and join us.
Then a wagon rolls out.
"Look out!" Jack yells pulling me aside.
Following the wagon are a bunch and thugs with chains and clubs. Dozens of scattered fights break out and we try to fight back. Jack's dealing with two guys, Race is trying to get to me but keeps getting pushed back, while I am on the ground getting attacked my three different thugs.
Out of nowhere the thugs start slapping their necks as if there are mosquitos. I look around confused before another guy grabs my neck and pins me to the ground cutting off my air supply. Then he falls. I look up and immediatly knew what happened. Brooklyn.
"Neva' fear, Brooklyn's hea'." Spot says standing up above the railing. He grabs a chain and swings down kicking a few guys. He runs over to me as all of the thugs run out of the gate.
"Everybody look!" someone yells. I turn and see Denton with a camera. Spot pulls me into the picture and his arm ends up around my waist.
-----------------------------------------------------
We're all in the restaurant eating when Denton walks in with a paper. He hands it to Jack and we all run over to him. I get there first and sit beside him looking.
Spot leans over Jacks shoulder and Jack swats him away. "Where's me pitch'a? Where's me pitch'a?"
Mush speaks up. "Lookit Jack, he looks like a general or sumpin."
Spot speaks again "Where's me name? Where's it say me name?"
