Dabbing the long thin tan-colored brush into the copper paint. Mixing it with the titanium white created a nice creamy beige that he used to spread across the blank canvas.

Perth looked at the different colors of the palette. Lips curved up. Smiling to himself, he looked up to the vague sketch he already drew on the 9x9 inch canvas. He imagined the prettiest eye shape, the fair yet slightly tanned skin tone, and the cutest nose.

Brushing on more paint, the song in the background changed. It was perfect for this activity.

...I see a line of cars and they're all painted black. With flowers and my love, both never to come back...

Barely rocking his head back and forth. Paint It Black by The Rolling Stones played as he mixed more paint on the palette.

A nutmeg brown and burnt umber to replicate the beautiful complex set of eyes from his memory. He could imagine the way the different shades of brown glistened in the sunlight. As they looked at him, burning a heart shaped hole into his soul. Eyes, dark, with a million layers that he couldn't dare to recreate perfectly. He was not at that masterful level to paint such a flawless portrait of his one and only.

A stroke here.

Bobbing his head to the tune, he leaned closer to his painting. He used another brush to add thin details.

...If I look hard enough into the setting sun. My love will laugh with me before the morning comes...

He imagined his love. A tiny nose that he just want to pinch. Slender down to the cute round tip. The slender silhouette of his head to his tender neck and along his shoulders.

"How he can somehow look handsome, cute, pretty, beautiful, and sexy all at the same time?" Perth whispers to himself. Sliding the brush across the canvas again, adding a the umber color over the beige.

Another long thin line here.

His imagination of his love — Chimon Wachirawit — was quite exquisite. The lightly blush of his cheeks. The slight hues of pinks needed to be added.

Setting down his brush, wiping the paint on his black pants, he looked down into the box of different paint tubes and canisters. He found a rosy pink and peach paint to add to the palette. Excitedly, he did so and began mixing for the perfect shade.

One color for the lips and another color for the cheeks.

A side grin came to his face when he imagined him. All the lovely, immaculate, features that are visible through his vision only. He only hoped the portrait could display the picture-perfect beauty of Chimon.
