The parking lot was filled with people dressed in a myriad of creative costumes, from superheroes to witches, and everything in between.

The neon lights of the restaurant cast an eerie, festive glow over the crowd, adding to the Halloween atmosphere.

As they stepped out of the car, Jake adjusted his fedora and glanced around, spotting some familiar faces.

Jay, however, was already scanning the crowd with a curious eye, eager to see who else had shown up.

Inside, the restaurant was decked out with cobwebs, jack-o'-lanterns, and spooky decorations.

The music was loud, and people were mingling, laughing, and showing off their costumes.

Jay and Jake made their way through the crowd, exchanging greetings and compliments with friends and acquaintances.

Jay's attention was quickly caught by a small figure in the distance.

It was a fairy, dressed in the shortest sparkly pants Jay had ever seen, white stockings that accentuated slender legs, and beautiful wings that shimmered under the lights.

The fairy also wore a delicate crown that complemented his ethereal appearance.
Jay was stunned, unable to take his eyes off the enchanting figure.

"Wow," Jay muttered to himself. "Who is that?"

Before he could think twice, he started to move towards the fairy, intent on introducing himself.

Just as he was about to reach him, Jake grabbed his arm, stopping him in his tracks.

"Whoa, hold on there," Jake said, his voice firm. "That's Heeseung."

Jay blinked, his surprise evident. "Heeseung? Sunghoon's date?"

Jake nodded, his expression serious. "Yeah, that's him. I know he's stunning, but you need to back off. Sunghoon's really into him, and it's not cool to make a move on your friend's date."

Jay glanced back at Heeseung, who was chatting animatedly with a group of friends.

As if sensing their gaze, Heeseung turned and smiled warmly in their direction.

Jay felt his heart skip a beat.

There was something magnetic about Heeseung's smile, something that made it impossible for Jay to look away.

"I won't make any moves," Jay promised, his eyes still locked on Heeseung.
"But I have to talk to him at least once. Just a conversation. I won't interfere with Sunghoon's thing."

Jake sighed, knowing that once Jay set his mind on something, it was hard to deter him.
"Alright, but keep it friendly, okay? Sunghoon would be really upset if he thought you were trying to swoop in."

Jay nodded, a determined look on his face.
"I got it. Just one conversation."

With that, Jay began to make his way towards Heeseung again, this time with Jake watching closely.

As he approached, he couldn't help but admire the way Heeseung carried himself, graceful and confident in his fairy costume.

"Hey," Jay said, his voice a bit more nervous than he'd intended.
"I'm Jay. Nice to meet you."
