After tucking Rian into bed, I made my way to Revansh's room to gather my clothes. For the past two weeks, I had been staying with him, but now I wanted to stay away from him.
I had decided to take my clothes and shift back to Rian's room. I knocked twice, but when no one answered, I let myself in. Revansh was nowhere to be seen, so I proceeded to the closet to collect my belongings.
As I entered the bedroom, I spotted Revansh sitting on the couch, his eyes fixed on his laptop. I ignored him and went about gathering my things, taking my medicines from the drawer. Revansh looked up, his eyes narrowing. "What are you doing?" he asked, his tone slightly soft. I chose to ignore him, pretending he didn't exist.
Revansh's voice came again. "I asked you, where are you going Adarika?" I still didn't respond, determined to maintain my silence. As I turned to leave, Revansh grasped my wrist, not painful but soft. "Leave my hand," I said, trying to wriggle free.
"No, where are you going?" he pressed. I glared at him, my voice firm. "None of your business, leave my hand." Revansh's face darkened.
I stood my ground, refusing to back down. "You know what? I'm not interested in talking to you, so leave my hand," I said, trying to keep my tone neutral.
"I said leave my hand," I repeated, trying to keep my cool.
Revansh's eyes seemed to bore into mine. "First answer my question," he said, his tone unyielding. I sighed, feeling a sense of frustration. "I am going to Rian's room," I replied, trying to keep my tone light.
Revansh's expression turned curious. "Why?" he asked, his eyes narrowing. I felt a surge of annoyance. Wasn't it obvious?
"Because this was in your so-called rule that I couldn't come into your room, and I don't want to break any more of your rules and face punishment. Even I don't want to be near you" I explained, trying to keep my sarcasm in check.
Revansh's expression softened, his eyes losing some of their intensity. "You can stay here," he said, his tone almost gentle. I was taken aback, unsure of what to make of his sudden change in demeanor. "No, I won't," I said firmly, trying to maintain my resolve.
Revansh's eyes seemed to gleam with amusement. "I said you can stay here," he repeated, his tone brooking no argument. I raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite myself.
"May I know why?" I asked, my curiosity getting the better of me.
Revansh's expression turned enigmatic.
"Because Mom wants you to," he said, his tone cryptic. I was about to protest, but Revansh beat me to it, taking my clothes from my hand and disappearing into the closet. I watched, bemused, as he put away my belongings, his movements efficient and deliberate.
