Matilda's POV

It was early in the morning when I heard my mom calling out my name (Matilda wake up you're gonna be late for college!).

Ohh shoot! as I woke up I stared at the time on my phone and it was 8:30am and I'm supposed to be at school in 30 minutes.I quickly rushed to the bathroom and took a quick shower and put on my clothes.While going down the stairs my mom asked me what took me so long and I just gave a her a kiss on her forehead and left for college .When I arrived at school my bestie Amanda came rushing to me and gave me a big hug.

Me and Amanda have been besties for a long time. Amanda is girl who loves people and likes to travel but her only problem is her overprotective boyfriend "Sam".While walking to class me and Amanda bumped into the mayor's daughter "Kathy". Kathy is the most popular girl in school because she's the mayor's daughter, Kathy looked at me and Amanda with disgust all over her face and she laughed at us me and Amanda stared at each other wondering why she was laughing.And finally after what felt like an hour she stopped and said "ohh look at the ugly fat besties" I swear that I was filled up with anger after she said those words and so was Amanda. Me and Amanda controlled our anger and just left her there and she came running with her minions and asked us why we walked out during her "happiest moment"like what the freak, her happiest is by saying bad things to us buttttt Amanda being the bad ass bitch she is she slapped Kathy really hard and also being the "drama queen" she is she fell down to the floor screaming for no reason just so she could get all the attention she needed and the whole school was surprised that the most popular girl in school was slapped. Kathy's minions helped her up while she pretend like she had asthma or something. Before things got serious we were stopped by a tutor and we were sent to "Lady Maria" the school cleaner to help around the school as punishment.

It was finally after school I was tired as I got home I saw my mom in the kitchen preparing dinner but I was shocked to see that there were three plates on the table because it's only me and mom in the house I just ignored that and hugged my mom and kissed her cheeked but I was shocked when I looked at her face it had bruises all over her face I asked her what had happened and she was looking at something behind me and when I turned around I saw something shocking. It was my "dad", my dad has been gone for two whole years and I don't know why.

My dad had a grin on his face and he looked horrifying like he was looking for a prey. My dad came to hug me but I ignored his hug and went to sit on the table and dad also followed. Mom served us food and dad kept staring at me and I felt really uncomfortable. He has been staring ate for about 10min now. I had have enough of his stares,"dad why are do you keep staring at me like that" I said,dad took a breath in and out,he looked ate and said the three words that almost made me fall to my knees "I sold you" I was shocked and thought that he was just joking around but lil did I know that he wasn't.

"What do you mean dad when you say that you sold me?" I said. "Well hunny you know dad has been struggling to pay debts and that's why he has been gone for two years" said mom I was surprised what my own mother has said to her own daughter. Mom told me the story of why dad disappeared for two whole years and that he once made a huge loan to the most dangerous mafia in Italy "Matteo Luciano Pavarotti".

"Mom how could you say that to your only daughter, and dad u just can't come back out of thin air and tell me that you sold me" I said that with tears filling my eyes. Dad hit the table gard and loud that made me and mom flinch.

"Alright young lady that is enough,I already told you that I sold so c'mon don't be a pain in the ass I really really need you to cope with me okay?" My dad said. I was actually in utter shock of what my own father has said and mom just sat there saying nothing I was so raging with anger and I just stood up and went to my room.

I can't believe that mom sat there saying absolutely nothing. I cried my self to sleep.
