The car ride to her house was mostly silent, Y/n sat on the front seat, She wanted to ask how did he manage to find her, knowing the world she's in, she didn't want to find out something she wasn't supposed to know. It is better to leave it be, Y/n concurred.

The car came to stop at the familiar doorstep, "Thank you for saving me Samuel." She looked at the man whom was on the drivers seat, "You're family Y/n, now go your parents are waiting for you." He smiled at her, she nodded opening the car as she ran to the front door, swinging it open, Y/n was met with her concerned looking parents.

Quickly she ran to them with open arms, although they weren't her real parents, their embrace and the way they cared made her feel like they were. Terese and her father were sobbing on her shoulder as they hugged her tight, still couldn't believe that she was there in the flesh.

"You are never leaving my sights ever again." Mother joked as she departed from the hug, her father however still was embracing her, now letting go of her, he sniffled, "We are going to a different country, we're leaving this place completely."

Y/n didn't get to react much, she merely nodded, she won't be there to be in a different country, she'll be going back to her universe after all. Of course she wouldn't tell them that, so Y/n nodded and smiled brightly.

"I can't wait, thank you Mom and Dad."

Her parents ushered her to rest, since it was the night time, assuring her that she was in safe hands, pointing out the guards outside the windows guarding every perimeter of the mansion. Abiding them as she made her way towards upstairs and to her room.

Although she was quite anxious to be alone, the fear of being taken again by Christina. Then again her parents said she was safe, so she tried to shake those thoughts in the back of her mind, opening the door Y/n expected to be greeted by a dark room.

To her surprise she was met by Yukki sleeping peacefully on her bed, although it was a sight not uncommon yet her heart stings feel like it was tugged, entering the room as she closed the door behind her quietly. Approaching the bed sneakily, not to wake him up.

Conveniently he stirred in his sleep, his eyes opening, blinking slowly observing Y/n who now sat on the side of the bed, he shifted to a position that faced her completely, "Is this a dream?" He asked in a raspy voice.

She shook her head to the side, "No." sitting up quickly, he engulfed her into a hug. "You're here?!" His hold tightened, Y/n buried her head on the crook of his neck, inhaling his scent which gave her comfort.

"You're here." He murmured, letting her go as he looked at her with teary eyes;

"I'm sorry i wasn't there to keep you safe, I-"

He was cut off from continuing the sentence with Y/n's lips on him, His tears cascading down his cheeks as he reciprocated her kiss, they felt like they were on their own little world in the kiss.

Breaking the kiss as they both catching their breath, eyes fixated on each other.

"I'm sorry Y/n."

"I should've been there."

"Your parents banned me from intervening." Y/n cupped his damped face, she smiled.
