"Come on Princess, let's get you to bed." Hayden says to his daughter, who nods and stands up and hugs me.
"Good night, Aleia."

Hayden went to the grocery store with Briar Rose, I stayed home because my feet hurt, but I wrote Hayden a list of candy and peanut butter and all that weird stuff that pregnant women like. 
"Hey." calls Tom, coming into the living room.
"Hey." I say, scrolling through my Insta feed.
"You look like you're about to explode." He says and sits down next to me.
I turn off my phone and look at him angrily. "You don't tell a pregnant woman that she looks like she's going to burst."
"Oh, sorry." he says. "So, why did you want to see me?"
I haven't seen Tom in a long time because he was filming a new film and since he's been back for a few days but neither of us had the opportunity to talk in peace, I took advantage of the fact that Hayden and Briar Rose went shopping today.
"I know you flew to Canada and told Hayden I was pregnant." I take his hand in mine. "Thanks, Tommy."
"To be honest, I was really angry when you said you were pregnant and that Hayden didn't know about it. But I just had to tell him, he can't and shouldn't leave you alone while you're carrying his child." he says.
I squeeze his hand. "And I'm really grateful to you for that. And between me and Hayden, the two of us...are, well...trying together again."
  Even though Tom's smile doesn't quite reach his eyes, I know that he's happy for me, but he's also worried about me.
"I'm glad, Jersey. Just take care of yourself and the baby." he says seriously.   "I have to go again, I promised Zendaya I'd FaceTime her." He gets up from the couch and starts to walk out of the living room, but I stop him.
"Let me see you more often, Tom. I miss you."
"I miss you too, Jersey." He walks out of the living room and I hear the front door slam.
Afterwards, Hayden and Briar Rose came back, both carrying bags that they put in the kitchen.
I tried to get up, which took about a few minutes, when I did I went into the kitchen and stood across from the two.
"Are you two okay, sweet girl?" Hayden asks, circling the counter and giving me a kiss on the mouth.
I'm amazed because he's never kissed me in front of his daughter, I cleared my throat.
"Yeah, we're both fine." I say, still amazed at what just happened.
I don't say anything for a while and watch the two of them take everything out of the bags and stow them in the cupboards. Briar Rose hands her father the groceries and he puts them in the cupboards because she can't reach them.
I listen to the two of them talking about a Disney movie and how excited Briar Rose is to see it with the two of us. Poppy nudges me with her snout to signal me to sit down, which she usually does, as if she realizes I can't stand for long. I sit down on the bar stool.
"Could you please give me the peanut butter and strawberries?" Hayden, who wanted to put the strawberries in the fridge, goes to the sink and washes the strawberries, he brings them to me and opens the peanut butter for me.
"Do you like it?" he asked as I ate the strawberry in the peanut butter.
"Mmmmm." I moan.
"I'm going to go play in the garden with Poppy." Briar Rose says and calls Poppy over and then runs out of the kitchen into the garden.
Hayden stands next to me and leans down to me, I feel his warm breath on my cheek close to my ear.
"I missed hearing that sound, sweet girl." His voice is rough and makes my panties wet.
