15. Training!

I am left alone in front of the wind estate, not being able to believe what just happened. But for some reason, i feel.. Happy?

"Oi! Come inside.."

I flinch at the sudden noise and turned around the second he started to speak.

"Well.. At least your reflexes are alright. Now come inside, dinner is prepared for you."

Did he just compliment me? I mean.. It wasnt really a compliment, but everything that isnt a insult, is already a big step forward when it comes to him.

I simply nod and walk past him, put the small paperbag down and immediately start heading straight up into the kitchen. Before i can look at whats prepared, he stops me.

"Wait! Did you eat yet? And i am not speaking about breakfast."

Hm.. Why does he want to know?

"Yeah. I ate f/f and some sakurs mochis."

"Alright.. Do you feel like eating a whole meal, or just something small and simple?"

Why is he asking me questions like that?

"Uh.. I could actually go for a meal right now.. I'm kind of hungry."

He walks past me, and puts one bowl of ramen on the table.

"Alright. I'll eat the simple dish then.."

Does that mean we'll be eating together? Oh god!!

I walk over to the table and sit down, while he sits down on front of me with his own plate. He has some simple Scrambled egg on his plate.

"Wait! Aren't you gonna eat more?"

He looks up to me with a unfazed gaze.

"No. Those were the last ramen we had. I'm fine with what i have. Now eat up."

What..? Thats kind of sad..

Before he can start eating, i grab his plate and switch it with my bowl of ramen. I then quickly grab the fork and eat a bite of the scrambled egg, so he wont switch our food again.

His unfazed gaze immediately switches to a baffled one. It takes him a few moments to realize what just happened, until he lets out a small chuckle and looks at me.

"What do you think youre doing, Y/n?"

"Uhh.. Eating dinner?"

I give him the most innocent smile and continue eating my scrambled egg.

"Yeah i.. I can see that.. I meant the fact that youre-"

I cut him off by saying something.

"Cmon. Eat up, Shinazugawa! The ramen are gonna get cold!"

"Tsk.. Fine. Stop calling me that.. just say 'Sanemi..'

I can hear him mumbling a small "thank you" before he starts eating.

I also continue eating while constantly smiling brightly. He gets curious about by great mood, so he decides to ask me about it.

"What made you so happy? Youre like a little kid who just got candy.."

*slurp slurp*

He continues eating his ramen while waiting for my answer.

"Oh, i just had a great day with Mitsuri and Obanai!"
