IRENE
"You have brought your wallet along, right? Because I didn't bring any money."
I walked beside Kian or tried to as we went inside the shopping mall.
I did bring money, I was just messing with him.
He had his hands inside his pockets as he strode ahead so confidently as he nodded.
I was almost running as I tried to keep up with him. Damn his long legs.
Whoever came across him, simply stepped aside after taking one look at him. Either everyone recognised him or they feared him just by looking at his face, his features hard as he scanned around, as if we were going into a war.
I walked as fast as I could yet within a few seconds he was able to get ahead of me.
I was getting tired. To my luck, he looked back for a second and then, his steps slowed down until he was walking right next to me.
I sighed. "At least you realised. I can't walk as fast as you. How tall are you?"
He kept looking ahead as he replied, "6'4."
Wow, okay, that's hot. I mean, of course, I could see he is tall but hearing his exact height...
I fanned myself with my hand making him glance at me and raise a brow.
I put my hand down and smiled sheepishly.
Just so he doesn't forget and starts walking fast again, I put my arm around his, hooking it around his elbow, my fingers wrapping around his bicep.
He didn't say anything about it and I leaned against his side, feeling safe with him.
"That's so cute," I commented, pausing outside a store and staring at the digital display of a model wearing one of their sundresses.
It was nothing special, just a simple, light yellow sundress but the model was beautiful and she looked so cute wearing it, especially with the colourful garden in the background.
Once I was done seeing it, I started to walk ahead only to be tugged back by Kian who then started to drag me inside the store.
"Hey...I need makeup products, not clothes..."
My protests didn't reach his ears as he took me inside, searched the store until he found the same dress that was on the display and took me there.
"Kian, I don't want this", I told him as he started looking through it for my size.
He checked the size of one dress and then scanned me from head to toe before shoving the dress into my hand. "You said it's cute."
"That doesn't mean I want to buy it."
Putting his palm on my lower back, he started to push me forward making me huff, "If you like it so much then why don't you buy it for yourself?"
That had him shooting me a glare and I chuckled.
"It won't look good on me", I grumbled as he dragged me to a changing room.
Thankfully, there were no people around, it was empty.
Kian leaned down and his lips grazed my ear as he murmured, "Try it for me, wife."
Now that he put it that way, I couldn't say no to him.
Taking the dress, I went inside to change.
I am going to officially change my name from Irene to wife because God I love it when he calls me that. It sounds so possessive.
