"your a responsible guy I can be the cool dad it would be a piece of cake " Itto spoke as he held his fingers out for the child to hold, his hands could barely reach around his finger " but it isn't that easy why take him when there could be parents who truly and desperately want a child not just two people right place right time "

Gorou placed the child in the middle of there bed. The room was fairly plain since Gorou really believed a bedroom was for sleeping and that's it. They had a mattress laying in the middle of the floor on the ground.

( Gorou always goes to bed first and his routine is to walk on it for a minute or so choosing the comfiest spot and hug his tail as he is curled up in a ball. Itto always stays up late so he just sprawls out as much as he can on the bed around Gorou)

"But would you have ever thought about us getting a kid ? Because I sure didn't but I have just the little puppy and I can't imagine him gone" Gorou stood up and turned to him " you have known him for a whole 10 minutes " He knelt back down and started making a little bed for the child out of blankets and pillows

"That's my point doggy general he reminds me of you couldn't we name him and keep him " Itto gently sat down on the bed and played with the child playing peekaboo " because whoever takes him should get the choice of his name what if we give him a name and they don't like it "

Gorou found himself smiling at the two playing together it was such a cute scene he had never even thought of but he also had the common sense to know that neither of them were equipped to handle the responsibilities of raising a kid, raising a kid would be nice, yeah but doesn't mean it was meant for them

"That's were I'm coming from imagine how we will feel after a few days even if we don't keep him we might as well give him a name what can calling him by a name for a few days actually do" Itto paused before he sat back up and looked at Gorou as he picked up the kid " are you scared that giving him a name will make you attached to him " Itto and the child both smiled at Gorou

He felt annoyed but his heart also melted at the image, he knew this child for what an hour and Itto's attempts were already eating away at me and I was starting to imagine a life with a child maybe not this one but a kid our kid. Itto decided he wanted to keep him right away and Yae Miko did come to him first even being slightly vulnerable well as vulnerable as she could get, so maybe we could raise a kid this kid.

Gorou smiled and got onto the bed with them. The two men play with the child on the bed, chasing him around and tickling him as he runs from them. He squeals with laughter, and they join in, their own laughter echoing around the room. They playfully roll around with him on the bed, taking turns to hold him and throw him into the air, making him laugh even more. Despite only having just met him, the men are clearly smitten with the little guy, and they take delight in playing with him until they're all breathless with laughter.

The next morning Gorou was woken up by a small hand snaking his face." Who are... Oh it's you" he grumbled as he rubbed his eyes waking up " hey there little guy " he stood up and picked him up before walking into the kitchen " I'm assuming your hungry then " I chuckled and sat him on the counter and I took out some lavender melon " I don't know what you eat but if you don't Itto will gladly eat it " he kept a watchful eye on the child as he cut the the lavender melon only ever looking away for milliseconds before his watch returned to the child.

The child giggled to himself and messing with his ears and tail and then when Gorou noticed just how knotted and matted his tail was. I should brush it maybe even a bath as well after I get him some food inside of him, Gorou thought to himself. He finished cutting the lavender melon before he played with the child for a few minutes as he waited for the oil to heat up in the pan

As the oil started to bubble Gorou moved the child further away he was nowhere near the oil or the stove but still he felt worried for the child's safety. Finding somewhere safer for the child proved slightly troublesome the couple had weapons all over the house, objects that could fall over even with a small nudge or just small trinkets that he could try and eat. Gorou's solution was to use some chairs and blankets to make him a safe place to play in. Yae Miko said he was 2 or 3 and he was starting to believe that the child was on the younger end of the spectrum maybe even younger then that

When Gorou was slightly confident in the child being slightly safe, well safe enough to make some food. He walked back over to the stove and started frying the lavender melon cubes. Every so often glancing back paranoid the child would get hurt. Eventually he had finished cooking it and they had cooled down so hopefully he wouldn't burn himself. He walked over and sat down and stabbed a chopstick into it so he could hold it " food " he smiled and passed the chopstick to the child

He looked up at Gorou slightly confused and then just swung the chopstick around. Gorou laughed as he picked one of the cubes of melon himself before taking a bite " see, you eat it " the child started nibbling on the the cube slowly before stabbing the chopstick into another " yummy" his tail started wagging side to side and he found his own tail wagging slowly. Could me and Itto actually raise him could we be parents no good parents, we have a choice in this decision we aren't a couple that got pregnant and have to deal with it no one expects us to take him and we have no right to unless we will be good parents. Gorou thought to himself as he watched the little guy eat
