Asher's POV
After lunch, we strolled through a local market in Jaipur. The girls were shopping, and we boys were following them, enjoying the sights and sounds of the vibrant market. Adiba wore a beautiful earring in her left ear and asked Himanshi, "How is it?"
I stood behind Himanshi, smiling, and said, "Earlier, this jhumka wasn't looking good, but after you wore it, it became very beautiful." Adiba blushed, and Himanshi teased, "Adiba, will you continue blushing now, or have these earrings been bought too?"
After buying the earrings, we moved ahead and came across a bag shop. A tiny bag caught Adiba's eye, and she exclaimed, "Aww, that's so cute!" Himanshi chuckled and said, "What? Cute? It's such a small bag; what will fit in it?"
Siddharth joked, "Whether or not anything fits in this bag, your mind will fit comfortably, and then there will be more space left." Himanshi was about to respond, but...
Himanshi was about to say something, but Adiba stopped her with a gentle touch on her arm. We continued our stroll and came across a shoe shop, where we decided to venture inside. Adiba and Himanshi were immediately drawn to the vast array of shoes and heels on display. Adiba's eyes landed on a stunning pair of heels, but as she tried them on, they didn't quite fit. She asked the shopkeeper, "Do you have a slightly bigger size?"
The shopkeeper assured her, "Ma'am, this is the right size, try it properly, and it will fit." Adiba tried again, but the heels still didn't fit comfortably. I offered to help, saying, "Let me try." Adiba playfully protested, "Arey nahi nahi rehnedo!" while removing the heels from her feet.
I picked up the heels, sat on my knees, and gently helped Adiba put them back on. This time, they fit perfectly! Adiba looked at me with a confused expression, "Arey, I tried so many times, and this heel didn't fit; now how did it fit?" Himanshi chuckled and said, "It's looking beautiful, Asher; please make Adiba wear these heels on her left foot as well."
I smiled and helped Adiba put on the matching heel on her left foot. She stood up, and we all admired how stunning she looked in the heels. The shopkeeper smiled, "I told you, ma'am, it was the right size!" We all laughed, and Adiba blushed, looking radiant in her new heels.
I nodded and helped Adiba put on the matching heel on her left foot. Himanshi chuckled and said, "Abhi aunty yaha hoti toh bolti, Adiba beta chal kar dikhao" We all laugh at familiar phase.
Adiba playfully replied, "Han abhi chal kar dikhati hun" and started walking. But, in her haste, she accidentally stepped on a shoe and lost her balance. She was about to fall when I quickly caught hold of her waist, and her hands instinctively landed on my shoulders.
Just as we regained our balance, the sound of a camera shutter clicked, and we froze, looking straight at Himanshi, who had captured our moment. Adiba and I exchanged an awkward smile, our faces flushing.
