As she expected, Ash's parents were all over her case the minute they got home. It was so infuriating to hear them talk trash like that with her little sister, Jenny, watching.

"Ash, can you please try and keep yourself out of trouble for once." her mum said wearly.

"Yes, we can't keep protecting you forever. It took a lot of persuading for them not to expell you." her dad added.

"You are in a very good school. Please scan you try and maintain your reputation there."

Ash was listening to all of this without saying a word. It was better to let them blow of some steam.

"As punishment, we are confiscating your electronics, apart from if you need to study, and you are also grounded for this entire month."

Ash groaned. "But c'mon. It was just a harmless prank."

"A harmless prank? You could have killed someone!" her mum exclaimed loudly.

"You're being so dramatic. They were harmless chemicals!"

"You set of the fire alarm!"

Ash knew that there was no point in arguing further and went to her room in defeat. It was so unfair. They probably didn't even know that those chemicals could explode before the phone call. At least now they knew something new about science thanks to her. Ash thought all of this while laying on her bed feeling sorry for herself, as she often did when something bad happened.

Just then, someone knocked on the door. It was Jenny.

"Get lost." Ash grumbled. She didn't have to energy to deal with her little sister at that moment.

"Hewo Ash! Do you wanna play?" Jenny was sucking a have toffee and her mouth was watering so much. She was still adorable though.

"Urgh fine. Come in"

"Yay!"

Jenny came in and started to jump on the bed. Ash just hid under the covers to block out the noise. Jenny could be very annoying sometimes.

"Jenny! Owch!" Ash grumbled as Jenny was squealing and laughing on the bad. This was going to be a long night.
