When I woke up in the morning, it felt peaceful. I stood up and looked at my calendar, it was finally my birthday!

I braided my hair into Dutch braids before getting changed into my uniform.

I told my friends my birthday a few weeks ago, and they said they would throw a party. I'm not sure when though, since it's Wednesday today I'm guessing it'll be on Friday or Saturday.

I didn't care though, I was just excited to have fun. They've all told me so much about how they throw the best parties for eachother and it would just get me more and more excited.

I got changed and brushed my teeth before leaving my dorm to go to the great hall, it was already more then half full and I was struggling on choosing where to sit.

I didn't want to sit next to Cedric or any his friends at all, so the only tables I had to choose from was Slytherin and Gryffindor.

I felt like somebody else from slytherin may say something to a teacher or be horrible to me, so I went for Gryffindor.

The vibe wasn't the best, Ron was still pretty annoyed at Harry for getting into the tournament. I'm not sure why since Harry obviously wouldn't cheat his way into something, Harry didn't put his name in that cup.

"Hey yn" Hermione said, moving over a bit so I had more space.

"Hey mione" I said as I put my bag down at my feet and picked up half a bagel and put butter on it.

I was wrong about the vibe not being the best, it was the worst.

If looks could kill Harry would be six feet under by now with the way Ron is staring at him.

"So... how's everybody's day going?" I ask as I awkwardly take a bite out of my bagel.

"Spectacular" Harry says in a sarcastic tone as he avoids any eye contact with Ron. Hermione lets out a sigh.

"Harry and Ron will you both stop being so bloody childish!" Hermione says angrily as she thumps her book on the table. Harry and Ron both go red and awkwardly scratch their heads.

"Oh yn I'm so sorry you sat with us on the worst day ever!" Hermione said as she turned to look at Harry and Ron again.

"Oh no it's fine, it's better then sitting with Hufflepuffs, Anyway what do we have first lesson?" I asked as I looked at Hermione.

"We've got potions, I hope you've all revised since we have a test today" Hermione said as she looked at me Ron and Harry.

"A Test!?" Ron shouts, nearly spitting his orange juice all over the table. Harry's eyes grow bigger as he hears the words come out of Hermiones mouth.

I laughed at Ron's reaction as Hermione gave both of the boys a disappointed look as she shook her head. All of a sudden ten dozens of owls comes swooping in from the windows, giving nearly everybody a heart attack.

One surprisingly came down to me, it had a letter and a small box next to it. I smiled at the owl as it flew away and I picked up the box, and opened it.

Inside laid a beautiful pearl necklace with matching earrings. I then moved onto the letter.

You are the best thing that's ever happened to me. I'm so glad to be able to call you my daughter. I'm so sorry we can't be with eachother on your birthday anymore. Although, I hope the trip I've booked to NYC over new years makes up for it. Also ask Professor McGonagall for the 200 galleons I sent for you, I couldn't fit them in the box. Happy Birthday beautiful, love you lots like jelly tots!
