Sierra's Pov

Sierra walked out of the library on fire. She was so upset that Dean had bested her and she knew it was utterly childish to care that he read two more books than her, but she couldn't help it. She would have been fine if it was anyone else other than Dean. She quickly walks to her dorm and immediately walks into her room, completely missing that Lilian was on Facetime with her boyfriend seductively eating a banana. Sierra just wanted a relaxing bath so she could breathe and regain herself and forget Dean.

She quickly entered her bathroom and lit three jasmine scented candles and took out her bath tray, put her ipad on it and opened Netflix so she could continue watching Bridgerton. She put a lavender bubble bath with a lavender and vanilla scented bath bomb in the tub after the warm, almost hot water filled up the tub. She stared at her face in the mirror. She fixed her annoyed expression and smiled at herself. She had pretty, straight white teeth. She looked at the small light beauty mark below her left eye. She had smooth brown skin that complimented well with her dark brown eyes. She has always been told that she was beautiful even though sometimes through elementary and middle school she didn't believe it. She has perfect shoulder length curls, she took great care of her curls and twisted her soft, kinky, and thick hair into ten sections every night.

After she was done undressing and admiring herself in the mirror as a pick me up she entered the tub and relaxed for an hour before she realized she was going to prune. She was hungry and had work to do like start writing about one of Hemingway's books. Thinking about the work she had to do for the project made Sierra self reflect on her ego. Because of her ego she now has to write twenty-five page notes about a book all because she couldn't let Dean beat her in one thing. She knew she had been immature, but it was too late she had to go with it.

After her bath, her and Lilian went to the dining hall and ate and were able to avoid any Dean sightings. After they came back they did homework together in the common area before around 1:30am they retreated to their rooms for the night.

Dean's Pov

Dean was upset he had to now reread a book and write a long ass summary about it, but at the same time he was walking on air since he upset Sierra. He knew despite her reaction she would struggle just as much as him and that was enough for him. While he usually never takes pleasure in others suffering, this was Sierra so all bets are on. He walked back to his dorm on air. When he entered his dorm he was surprised to see Jess and Devin there with Thomas.

"Oh you look excited." Jess pointed out. "I take it that meeting with Sierra went well, you ask her out?" Thomas teased. Devin was not happy about Thomas' joke, her heart dropped in case there was any truth to it. "Hell no. I went well because I read more Hemingway books than her and she didn't like it. She felt so small. Then she freaked and said we should write a twenty-five page analysis." Dean explained with a smile. "Oh so you've lost it. Okay cool." Jess said. "No I haven't. I know I shouldn't take joy from others' pain, but it's Sierra we are talking about. She always tries to put me down, but it didn't work this time, I got her." Dean said. Devin was put back to ease knowing nothing had changed between the two. "So you're not worried about the two twenty-five page summaries you have to write now?" Thomas questioned. Dean nodded no.

Shortly after Dean's story the girls left their dorm to hangout with some new friends they had made and the boy stayed in the common area working in silence until they fell asleep on the couch.

Sierra's Pov

"How is that summary going?" Lilian asked, "It is so annoying I am almost starting to regret saying we should write twenty-five pages." Sierra confessed, "but I've finished two of my book analysis'. I bet it's more than he's done so far."
