Olivia looked around, weaving through trees and trying to brush off the feeling of hopelessness she'd had since she'd ran away. Maybe I should've just stayed, it wouldn't make much of a difference, I'm screwed either way. She shook her head, clearing it of all the dark thoughts, she needed shelter, and to think of a way to save her parents, she couldn't just give up now...
/1ST PERSON, TWO HOURS BEFORE/
I heard my parents come home, I went outside, immediately greeting my mum and dad and jumping into their arms. "hi mama!" I said excitedly, before realizing something was wrong..
Papa was looking at me weird, like he was hungry and I was food. "Papa? Mama? Are you okay?" I noticed the red tinted foam leaking from his mouth with a horrified expression, immediately trying to get out from my mum's arms. She let out a croaky groan, before trying to bite me. I slipped out of her arms narrowly, letting out a shrill shriek. All I could remember after that was me running through the woods, crying out, how unfair could this be?
