I saw a meme that said, men when they get better or they are not getting what they want, they leave.

They rarely look back.

Kirky saying that it would be better to end the situationship than be honest with me, than reassure me, says a lot of about where we are at.

But what if it's too early for me to be making those demands.

When would be a good time?

And by then, he would have assumed that I had accepted the arrangement and statusquo.

No one should insist Saffron accepts it because even Kirky knows that if he had told Saffron of his entanglements and marriage status.

She would not have been with him.

Kirky left those minor details out because then he would not have me the way he wanted to.

It was insulting to me.

The people who want to talk about my little tryst with Jason as some sort of leverage are unfair in their thinking.

I am regret leaving Jason out of the mix.

I would have been more level headed if I had my back up man.

Bird can't fly on one wing.

But I don't want Jason back.

Our time has expired.

I am weird like that.

Once I fall in love with another man.

The ex goes right through the door.

I feel nothing for Jason.

Nothing.

I fell in love with Kirky.

Now I am thinking about the imminent heartache and how soon I will meet someone else to replace Kirky.

Kirky wasn't my fit.

I pulled into the parking lot at the supermarket and slipped into a spot beside a big Land Rover Sport.

I don't ask God to fix things with a man anymore. I ask him to send me another man.

Keep it moving.

I exited my drive and my eyes made four with a dark skin man staring at me in the Land Rover.

"How you come in behind me?"

"How me fe see yuh behind me?" He said with a broad smile.

I loved his smile and I love his dark skin.

My type.

I know why men like starting over... new people are the best, makes life interesting and you get to try on personalities and be your best self. One more shot at making right again.

"You have mirrors!" I replied.

He smiled.

"Come here!" He said and I watched his hand move the gear stick from reverse into park.

I did. The black Range Rover fattening my eyes.

"Yuh pretty een?" He said still smiling.

He took my hands into his and squeezed them.

"Hands dem small though?"

I blinked. "Me always a seh me have big hands!"

My fist looked tiny in his hands.
