"IIDA, STAND UP, PEOPLE ARE LOOKING"

Tuesday, 16:17
After school ends, I begin to walk to my dorm. Halfway there, however, I hear someone jogging towards me. I turn to see Iida.
"y/n, wait."
I groan, loudly. "What do you want, Iida? More questions? More class rep-ing? What, now?"
"I wanted to say I'm sorry for keeping you from going outside at first. I should've just let it end at you telling me you have special permissions. I'm sorry." He bows.
Oh goodness, he's bowing.
"Iida, stand up, people are looking." I sigh.
"Not until you accept my apology!" He says, quite loudly.
"Okay, fine, whatever, now please stand up," I respond, an exasperated tone to my voice.
He stands back up and smiles. Honestly, it's kind of cute. "As an addition to my apology, would you please come to Midoriya's dorm room at 18:00? My friends and I are hanging out and I want you to come with us. It'll be fun."
"Can I decline?"
"You can, but it'd be nice for you to come." He gives me a soft smile.
God, how can anyone say no to that? "Fine."
"Great! See you then."
I quickly walk away from him until I get to my dorm. After I change, I go outside for some last minute sunlight.
Once 17:45 rolls around, I begin walking upstairs to Midoriya's room which, thankfully, is only one floor under mine.
When I get there, I knock and, of course, Iida answers.
"Thanks for coming, y/n." He smiles.
He opens the door wider for me to walk in and notice that it's only him and Midoriya there so far. Great. Annoying and annoying-er.
"Hi, y/n! You can sit anywhere. Uraraka and Todoroki will be here soon, but there usually on time and not early, so it's likely that it'll just be us 3 for another 10 minutes, unless something happens that increases that time, but they could also be earlier than that since, you know, nothing ever stays consistent! Haha, but anyways..." Midoriya starts ranting before it dies off and he's just mumbling to himself.
"Sorry about Midoriya," Iida laughs. "He gets carried away sometimes. But don't worry, you'll get used to it."
"I'd rather it not happen much so I wouldn't have to get used to it. But I guess we can't all get what we want." I sigh.
"No. Guess not."
Eventually, Uraraka and Todoroki arrive, almost one after the other.
We're all sitting in a circle, with me between Iida and Todoroki and directly across from Uraraka.
"Okay guys, want do we want to do tonight?" Uraraka asks, cheerfully.
Everyone starts talking, practically at once, trying to decide what to do. This is a complete 180 from last night with Kaminari and his friend group. They were really calm and collected, for the most part, with only minor outbursts, but those were mostly from Bakugo and Kaminari fighting, or really, Bakugo fighting Kaminari, and Mina laughing really loud, which I can get over. But this, this is not what I expected. I expected these two groups' dynamics to be completely switched.
As the others are talking, I reach behind me and grab my water bottle, taking a sip from it. Suddenly, all of them turn to look at me and they go silent. I get the feeling I've missed something.
"Um... What?"
"What do you think we should do, y/n? We can't seem to figure anything out," Iida says.
"Why don't we just... I don't know, play a card game or something?" I suggest.
"Ooh! How do you guys feel about Uno?" Midoriya asks excitedly.
"That's fine by me," Todoroki says.
"Yes, I love Uno!" Uraraka agrees.
"What ever you guys feel is fine with me," Iida says. "How do you feel about Uno, y/n?"
"Um. I don't mind."
"Great!" Midoriya cheers.
Hooray. Now I get to play Uno with the most boring group of people ever for a couple hours. Go me!
