"YOU WANT MORE, DONT YOU?"

Tuesday, 21:30
Once it hits 21:30, Iida puts his cards down and speaks up.
"Alright, everyone. I think it's time for us to end our hangout for tonight. We have 30 minutes until curfew begins." He looks at me.
At first, I'm curious as to why he's looking at me, until I realize how exhausted I must look. Thankfully, though, since Iida passively brought it to my attention, I realize I really need to go to sleep.
"Bye everyone!" Everyone starts to get up and leave, except Midoriya who's cleaning up the cards.
Once I walk out the door, I feel a tap on my shoulder that has started to feel familiar.
"Hey, y/n," Iida says. "Want to walk upstairs with me?"
"Mhm, sure," I reply, too tired to say anything else.
"I was going to let it run for 15 minutes more, but then I realized that you said you go to sleep not long after the sun does. Then I looked at you and realized, again, that you're probably exhausted, so I felt like you needed sleep. Was I right?" He asks, looking at me intensely.
Huh. I never knew anyone really listened to me when I spoke.
I nod in agreement that, yes, he was right. "Thanks..." I mumble.
No problem," he replies. Then, we've gotten to the top of the stairs. "Well, good night, y/n."
"Good night, Iida."
We go our separate ways.
Wednesday: 6:11
I wake up the next morning the same as usual. The sun is just now waking up with me. I take a big gulp from my water bottle, put on my clothes, and go to the kitchen. When I get there, I see Iida again, as expected.
"Morning," I greet.
He turns around. "Good morning, y/n." He smiles and turns back around to finish making whatever breakfast. "I'm making scrambled eggs. Want some?" He asks.
"Uh, sure," I agree, walking over to the sink to fill up my water bottle.
"Okay. I'll make yours first so you have time to go outside and get some sun before you have to get ready for school."
"Oh. Are... Are you sure? Will that put you behind?" I ask. I don't know why I'm worried about messing up his routine, but for some reason, I am.
"Nah, it'll be okay. I go out and run for about 45 minutes every morning. I can cut that down to 30 for one day." He turns around and smiles at me again and I feel my face get a little warm. Is it hot in here or something? It doesn't feel hot in here, but I'm a little hot.
After a couple minutes of me sitting at the table and him making the eggs, he finishes and brings me the plate.
"Thanks," I say before taking a bite and holy shit, these are fantastic.
"Of course." He chuckles. "Are they good?"
I look up at him, curiously, until I realize why he asked. I scarfed down my whole breakfast in less than a minute. Maybe they were better than I realized. I slowly nod my head, mildly embarrassed.
"Would you like me to make you some more?" He asks, a soft smile sticking to his face.
"What? No, I've already made you alter your schedule. No need for anything more," I decline, standing up to go wash my plate, until he slips it out of my hand.
"You want more, don't you?" He chuckles.
I sigh and nod slowly in defeat.
"Coming right up."
Wednesday, 6:45
As Iida and I are eating our eggs, I hear a few people start coming down the stairs. That's when I realize that I'm behind schedule. Very very far behind schedule.
I quickly scramble to finish my eggs and then go wash my dishes.
"Thanks, Iida!" I say, before rushing upstairs to get ready for school. Although I still have an hour before I need to go to class, I desperately need time in the sun first. I'm already feeling a little tired as is.
Once I've made it outside, I immediately sit down and chug my water, relaxing and taking in the sun, until I hear the door open beside me.
"Hey, y/n."
Iida again.
"Hey, Iida."
"Do you want to walk with me to class? I'll be leaving in about 15 minutes."
"Yeah, sure."
I'm starting to grow a little fond of Iida.
