"So, why did you want to become a hero?" Iida asks.
Honestly, I was hoping for a silent walk to school, but I guess that's not in the cards for today.
"I want to save people. I want to help the people my- I mean, I want to help people who need it. I want to be a role model to the kids and aspiring heroes. You know what I mean?" Why am I telling him all of this?
"Wow. That's actually very honorable. I admire that, y/n." He looks down at me and smiles.
"Oh. Thanks." I look down and once again feel my face get warm. Am I sick or something?
The rest of the walk to class is surprisingly very nice. Refreshing. It's nice talking and laughing with somebody, even if that somebody is Iida. God, I need more friends.

Once we're in class, I sit on top of Iida's desk so I can ask him a question.
"y/n! Get off the desk, that goes against school ru-" he starts, but I cut him off.
"Why do you want to become a hero?" I ask.
He sits in his seat and looks up at me. "Well, my brother, Ingenium, is my role model. I want to be like him. I want to put a smile on people's faces like he did."
I feel my eyes burn with tears.
"That's lovely, Iida." I smile softly.
"Thank you," he says.
We continue to talk with me still planted on his desk until people start to file in.
"Ooh~ y/n and Iida!"
I hear someone call my name, so I turn my head. Kaminari.
Kaminari rushes over to the both of us and wiggles his eyebrows.
"y/n sitting on Iida's desk? And him not yelling at her about it? Do I smell romance?" Kaminari fake swoons, and Mina rushes over and catches him.
"Wha- Oh. Em. Gee." She wiggles her eyebrows just like Kaminari did. "Kamibaby, I think you're riiiight~ Oh- I feel faint." She dramatically falls and suddenly, Kirishima rushes over and catches her as well. So now, Kaminari is on Mina and Mina is on Kirishima. I feel bad for him.
"Oh my gosh," I grumble, my face heating up intensely. I hate this class.
