You stood in front of the microphone, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. This was your first major voice acting role, and you wanted to make a good impression. "Hey there, fishy friends! Let's go on a treasure hunt!" Your voice was bright and full of energy.
As you finished, you heard a muffled giggle from Heeseung's direction. You glanced at him through the glass, seeing him covering his mouth, trying to suppress his laughter. His eyes crinkled with amusement, making it clear he was failing miserably.
"What's so funny, Heeseung?" You asked, raising an eyebrow, trying to sound stern but failing to hide your smile.
Heeseung couldn't hold it in anymore and burst out laughing, the sound of his laughter echoing through the recording studio. His laughter was contagious, and soon, the entire recording room was filled with the sounds of laughter, including the director and other voice actors from both PROMISE and ENHYPEN.
Sunghoon, another member of ENHYPEN, chimed in between laughs, "Heeseung, you need to control yourself!"
Jungwon, sitting next to Sunghoon, added, "Seriously, though, Y/N, that voice is hilarious and perfect for the character."
From the other side of the room, one of your leader and PROMISE member, Jen, called out, "Y/N, you're doing amazing! Don't let these boys distract you!"
You couldn't help but laugh along with them, your initial nerves dissipating in the warmth of their support and camaraderie. "Well, I'm glad you all think so," you replied, sticking your tongue out at Heeseung playfully.
Heeseung finally caught his breath and managed to say, "Sorry, Y/N. Your voice is just too adorable. I wasn't expecting that level of cuteness."
You blushed, feeling a mix of embarrassment and affection. You appreciated his honesty and the way he always made you feel special, even if it was through his laughter.
The director, still chuckling, spoke up, "Alright, let's take a short break before we continue. Y/N, you're doing a fantastic job. Keep up that energy!"
As the group dispersed for the break, you walked over to Heeseung, who was now standing by the water cooler, a wide grin on his face.
"Thanks for making me the center of attention," You teased, lightly punching his arm.
Heeseung rubbed his arm dramatically, pretending to be hurt. "Hey, I was just appreciating your talent!"
You rolled your eyes, but your smile betrayed your amusement. "I guess I should be thankful. Your laughter did help me relax a bit."
Heeseung leaned in closer, his voice softening. "You really are doing great, Y/N. Your voice brings the character to life. I'm proud of you."
You felt your cheeks heat up again, but this time it was from the sincerity in his voice. "Thanks, Heeseung. That means a lot."
Nearby, Jake and Ni-ki from ENHYPEN were chatting with Lina and Yuna, discussing their own characters and lines. The friendly banter and shared excitement filled the room with a positive energy that was hard to resist.
"Hey, everyone," the director called out, gathering everyone's attention again. "Break's over. Let's get back to work."
You and Heeseung exchanged a quick, encouraging smile before heading back to their respective microphones. The session resumed, but the atmosphere was lighter, filled with laughter and the shared joy of creating something together.
As you stood in front of the microphone again, ready to deliver your next line, you glanced at Heeseung one more time. His eyes met yours, sparkling with encouragement.
