Chapter 2: A woman's heart is a deep ocean of secrets

Jack POV: Once I had lost sight of the mainland, I ran down to third class to find my room. After scavenging through the mighty ship, I thought I was lost. After another ten minutes trying to orientate myself, I came across the door with the same number on my ticket. I unlocked the door to meet three other people, A man, A woman and a little girl. I introduced myself and they did the same. They were Mr. and Mrs. Cartmell, and their daughters name was Coraline. "You can call me Cora" she said. I made my bed and then went out onto the main deck to admire the amazing ship.

Rose POV: After putting up all my paintings I decided to go for a walk to get away from my annoying fiancé Caledon. I wandered around the deck for a while then decided to make my way down to explore the different decks. 

After a while I realized I was lost and started to panic. I heard voices and turned around to see a family walking towards me. I waved and walked over and said, "hi umm excuse me but I am lost, and I don't know how to get back up to the top deck, could you please show me". They just looked at me weirdly and continued. As they walked away, I realized they were speaking a different language. I mentally slapped myself and walked down the corridor.

 As I turned the corner, I saw a man with a long beard and lots of tattoos. He smirked when he saw me, rolled up his sleeves and sneered "what's a little posh girl like ya self doin down here with the rats". I panicked and ran back the way I came. His loud footsteps followed me down the corridor and I looked behind me to see him following me. I swerved and went down another hall but as I turned to see if he followed me, I smacked into someone walking the other way. I look up to see a young man, around my age looking down. I apologize but when he sees the man following me, he looks down at me and says "hey babe, I knew you would find me" I look at him confused when he holds his arm out for me to take. I realized he was either helping me or kidnapping me. He gives me a reassuring smile and I reply with "oh gosh this ship is so massive I ended up in first class! But I found you honey". I take his arm and we walk away, the man behind me thought that we were together and turns around and walks away. Once he is gone, I let go of the young man's arm and look him in the eyes. "Thank you Mr..." "Dawson" he replies "Jack Dawson".
