Two Birds.

Chapter 1 - "I'm sorry"

"No" i said as me and Edward sat in a field together. He pulled out a beautiful ring that was his mother's, i couldn't accept it i knew that we wouldn't last and i know how much this would hurt him. "Why Bella, i love you, you love me? Right?" he said in a somewhat questioning tone, yes my love for him was there and it was yelling but my love with Jacob was there too and it was screaming.

"Edward i'm sorry but" He cut me off before i could even finish he knew what i was going say "it's Jacob isn't it?" there wasn't even a question in his voice, he knew.

"it's always been him, Bella he is right for you. He's warm, has a beating heart, and blood pulsing through his veins" all i could do was sit there and look at him in disbelief he got up as i was still sitting down "Edward you don't know how sorry i am, i love you so much and you don't know how bad i wanted to love you more then Jacob and how bad i feel right now." i said this looking up to meet his eyes. His cold brown eyes "it's okay Bella i knew this was coming i always knew it would be him he is better for you i just wanted to enjoy what little time we had together." he said turning his back to me he started to walk away before stopping "someone is here to see" he said and he sprinted away i followed him with my eyes until i could no longer see him.

I turned around go meet Jacob's eyes. "Jake" i said quietly to myself and i got up and ran over to him hugging him tightly. He wrapped his arms around tight like nothing could ever harm me when i was in his arms, i was safe.

"Jake i" he knew i looked up at him
and he knew i could tell in his eyes. "i know. You and that blood sucker are no more" he said trying to be caring but he couldn't be nice to him not even for me. "Bella lets go, come on" he said in a comforting tone. He wrapped an arm around my waist as i looked over my shoulder to hopefully see a glimpse of Edward one last time.

We had walked back to his house Seth and Leah were there too but Jacob quickly dismissed them it seemed like i was the most important thing at the moment but i knew this wouldn't last for long. I knew something would come our way either that being Edward or Jacob falling into one of his 'i'm not good for anything or anyone' states, but i wasn't going to let go of him ever.

I was never going to let him get away ever.
