Mia left for her next trip a few days ago, after sitting with charlotte and talking all night.
Charlotte missed the way Mia slowly caressed her hand as she talked about her issues.
But charlotte had her kids to attend to.
"Lilith! Aurora!! Come on! Your going to be late for school" Charlotte's voice echoed through the kitchen,
as you hear little footsteps speeding down the stairs.
Lilith who was 13 was in her "I'm too cool for school phase" so she grabbed her lunch and started putting her shoes on.
Aurora who was 10, was the most Lively kid there is. She always laughing and giggling. She aswell started putting her shoes on.
"Don't forget your lunch Aurora!!"
Charlotte giggled. Aurora always forgot her lunch, which made charlotte need to drop it off every other day.
"Mum"
Lilith finished Tying her shoes and sat on the couch. Giving charlotte a confused look.
"Yes sweetheart?" Charlotte answered with a smile.
"Who where you on call with last night? I heard you laughing"
lilith continued to have the most confused look on her face.
Charlotte face went blank. She lost her words for a second, trying to come up with a lie.
"It was one of my really good friends lil! I haven't talked to her for ages!!" She turned to the fridge, grabbing the milk and let out a sigh.
"Do you guys need a lift or are you two okay?"
They both nod as lilith opens the door. But they find themselfs to see a tall redhead standing in the door frame.
Charlotte stood there in absolute shock, dropping the milk that was once in her hand, spilling all over the kitchen floor.
"Hi sweetheart" Mia smiled at lilith
"Who are you?" If lilith wasn't confused then. She most certainly is now.
"I'm your mum's very good friend." She chuckled.
"You guys have a really good day at school okay? I love you!!" She quickly tried giving them the hint that they need to go.
"I love you too mom!!" Aurora walked out the house. While lilith smiled and just left.
*door closes.*
"I've missed you so much, sweetheart." Mia pulled in charlotte by the waist, making the younger smile. The red head, brought in a kiss that was craved by charlotte for so long.
"Aurora wait there I'll get your lun- Mom?!" Lilith stood there. She didn't know how to react or how to feel.
"Lil! " Charlotte quickly moved away from Mia .
"You must be really good friends if your kissing with tongues down eachothers throats." She grabbed auroras lunch and left.
Charlotte picked up a mop, and starred mopping up the milk she had spilt earlier, as tears slowly run down her eyes.
"Mia. What am I going to do? she hates me."
