The Doll

I woke up early one morning to find a doll sitting in front of my house.

It was sitting in a small cardboard box, right there on the sidewalk, like someone had just dropped it off.

I wasn't sure what to think at first - maybe it belonged to some kid who had lost their way?

Or maybe it was a gift for someone?

The doll looked like she might be handmade, with a face painted on her head and arms and legs that were stitched together.

Her hair was long and flowing, and her dress was pretty too.

But when I looked closer, I noticed something strange about her eyes.

They were not normal eyes, they were two glass marbles!

I took the doll inside and put her on my desk so I could see her better.

She seemed to stare back at me, almost as if she knew what I was thinking.

It creeped me out a little bit, but then again, it was kind of cool too.

As the day went by, I kept thinking about the doll and wondering why she had been left there.

Maybe it was a sign from someone telling me that they cared about me?

Or maybe it was just a coincidence?

Whatever the reason, I decided to keep the doll with me as a reminder of this special moment.

That night, when I went to bed, I placed the doll on my pillow beside me and fell asleep quickly.

In the middle of the night, I woke up suddenly to find the doll staring at me once again.

This time, there was something different about her eyes.

They seemed to glow in the dark, almost like they were alive.

It scared me so much that I jumped out of bed and ran into the living room.

When I turned around, I saw that the doll had followed me.

She was standing at the end of my hallway, watching me intently.

I couldn't believe it!

How did she get here?

Where did she come from?

Just then, a loud bang sounded from outside my window.

Startled, I ran over to check what it was.

There, on the sidewalk, was another doll identical to the first one.

Only this one had no eyes at all.

Just empty holes where they should be.

I stared at both dolls for a few moments before running back inside and locking myself in my bedroom.

What was happening?

Why were these dolls appearing out of nowhere?

Was someone playing tricks on me?

The rest of the night passed and I was able to fall asleep again.

But when I woke up in the morning, both dolls were gone.

I tried not to think too much about them for the rest of the day, hoping that whatever had happened would stay behind me.

But unfortunately, I didn't know that this was only the beginning...
