You and Jack enter the Mostro lounge, taking in it's fancy schmancy aura before seeing the twins doing their business cleaning tables or just walking around, "This place is hoppin'." You comment
Jack nudges your shoulder and leans down a bit to whisper, "Remember, you're in enemy territory here. Stay sharp at all times." He instructs you with a stern look on his face, examining every corner of the restaurant.
"Eyyy, Little Shrimpy! Glad you could make it! I see you've got a sea urchin plus-one." Floyd waves you two over with a big smile on his face as Jack feels a tick mark appearing on his forehead. "I told you not to call me that!" He yells.
You look at Jade and tip your hat at him, him doing the same with his fedora out of curiosity since not many people in Twisted Wonderland greet like that. "Well, well. Thank you for coming to our establishment so promptly." He starts.
"Welcome to the Mostro Lounge. Is this your first time dining here?" He asks while making his way over to the two of you, his brother was sitting on the armrest of one of the couches so he was further away but could still hear the conversation.
"Y'know, I've been wonderin' since lunch... Do you have a thing for askin' questions you already know the answers to?" You ask him as he chuckles, "Heh. I like to keep my bases covered." He smirks but quickly goes back to his customer service smile.
"Now then, if you would allow me to provide you with a rundown of our establishment... The Mostro Lounge is a meeting place for gentlemen. Any quarrels with other dorms are verboten here." He notifies.
"Students from all dorms are expected to abide by Octavinelle rules on the premises. We pride ourselves on providing a place for everyone to enjoy under the same set of rules." He then gives you a close-eyed smile, "With that out of the way... How may I assist you today?"
You scoff, "You know why I'm here." Jade looks down at you for a good two seconds before giving you a sad smile. "The manager is currently meeting with another patron. Could I ask you to wait in the lounge until such time as his schedule opens up? And lest I forget, our establishment has a one-drink minimum. You must order at least a single beverage of some variety." He says.
Jade turns to look at two of the students who were dumb enough to get themselves caught up in a stupid contract, "Sea anemone, if you could take our esteemed customer's order?"
"Sorry, I've got drinks to run." Deuce scurries off to a table while Ace groans in frustration, "You do it! We're slammed over here! You keep making us do all the work while you're just sittin' pretty over there."
Oh wait.. those students were your dumb friends who had themselves get caught up with a stupid contract.
Ace was quick to shut up when Floyd suddenly pulled on his anemone, "You're talking back to me? How impressively bold for a sea anemone." He glares at Ace. Deuce who was standing a table away had averted his gaze but that seemed to had annoyed the eel more as Floyd reached over and pulled on Deuce's anemone too.
