The 4 Pevensie's followed beaver back to the dam. They were halfway back when they heard howling, They all stopped in there tracks.

"The witches police!! Hurry" Mr beaver screamed as he begun running to the dam. Peter lifted Everly higher into his arms making sure she wouldn't fall as he ran, whiled Susan grabbed Lucy's hand

Mr beaver burst into the dam screaming "hurry mother!! They're after us!!" He said. Mrs beaver started running around the room grabbing stuff on her way. "What's she doing?" Peter asked in a panic.

"Oh, you'll be thanking me later, it's a long journey and beaver here's pretty cranky when he's hungry" Mrs beaver told them. "I'm cranky now" Mr beaver said, as Susan began to help Mrs beaver pack.

"Do you think we'll need jam?" Susan asked "only is the witch serves toast" Peter said back sarcastically. They all began to move faster when they heard howling and snarling. The wolves surrounded the dam and began to dig their way through the wood.

"Hurry!! Down here" Mr beaver said, opening a door that led to an underground tunnel. Mr beaver led by going in first. "Badger and me dug this, comes out right near his place" Mr beaver told them as he led them through the tunnel.

"You told me it led to your moms" Mrs beaver said to Mr beaver. Lucy lets out a yelp when she trips over, "Lucy" Susan said as she helps Lucy up. Everyone stops walking when they heard shuffling and snarling "they're in the tunnel" Lucy whispered.

"Quick!! This way" Mr beaver said, they all ran, "toy should have brought a map" Mrs beaver told her husband when he started to look around confused. "There wasn't any room next to the jam" Mr beaver replied.

As they turned the next corner they could see a big hole in the top of the tunnel. Mr beaver climbed up first with Susan following, Peter passed Everly to Susan, then did the same with Lucy before going up himself. Mrs beaver went in last they then covered the hole up so the wolves couldn't come up.

Lucy backed up "ughh" she said as she tripped over something. Mr beaver finished putting the last barrels over the entrance before turning around to see what li y tripped over. His face filled with sadness as he walked over to one of the statues.

"I'm so sorry dear" Mrs beaver said in lacing her hand on her husbands shoulder. "he was my best mate" Mr beaver said. Peter squeezed Everly's hand hearing this.

"What happened here?" Peter asked. "This is what becomes of those to cross the witch" a voice behind him answered. They jumped and turned around to see a fox stood on some rocks.

"You take one more stab traitor, and I'll chew you to splinters" Mr beaver threatened, Mrs beaver went and held him back. "Relax" the fox chucked "I'm one of the good guys"the fox continued.

"Oh yea?, well you look an awful lot like one of the bad guys" Mr beaver said. "An unfortunate family resemblance" the fox said walking closer. Peter pushed Everly being him "but we can argue breeding later" the fox said as they heard howling and barking coming from the tunnel.

"Right now we've got to move" Peter glanced back at the tunnel, before turning back towards the fox "what do you have in mind?" The fox motioned up towards a tree above them.

The wolves finally broke through the tunnel to find the Pevensie's and beavers no where in sight. The wolves saw the fox and started to circle him. "Greetings gents, lost something, have we?" Fox asked.

"Don't patronize me!! I know where your allegiance lies, we're looking for some humans" the leader of the wolves said. The fox chuckled "humans? Here in Narnia? That's a valuable bit of information, don't you think"

A wolf rushed forward and lunged at the fox, biting him, letting the fox dangle from his mouth. "Where are the fugitives" the leader asked the fox. The fox looked defeated hanging his heard "North" he said "they ran north" he finished.

"Smell them out" the leader ordered. The wolf holding the fox threw the fox onto the floor, causing him to yelp in pain, before running off. Following the rest of the wolves.
