Chapter 5

Jong Woo felt something cold and hard beneath him, slowly opening his eyes he realized that he was laying in the hallway. He got up, still a little sleepy "Why would I sleep here?" he mumbled making his way to the bathroom to wash up and go to work.

While he was preparing for a shower he caught a glimpse of himself in the mirror. Red dots around his neck grabbed his attention as he began to inspect them more carefully.

It hit him those weren't just dots, they were hickeys. He began pacing around the bathroom. "Why would I have hickeys? Did I go to a bar last night? No I'm sure I came back home besides I'm not hungover so I haven't drank." He voices his thoughts out loud

"Babe please hurry up I need to use the bathroom" someone called from the other end of the door.

Jong Woo opened the door sharply "Why do I have hickeys on my neck? Did you do this?" He asked sternly

"Babe you should really get your head checked. If I hit you again will this split personality disappear?" Moon jo said in a cocky tone "To be honest I like the other side of you" he added as he walked away.

Jong Woo grabbed Moon Jo by the shirt pushing him against a wall. "You know something. We can stand here all day unless you tell me about this split personality nonsense" he said. "Act like that more often and you wouldn't be able to see your skin from all the hickeys" Moon jo responded.

Frustrated Jong Woo let go and shut himself in the bathroom.

He was forced to wear a turtle neck sweater to work as he didn't want anyone to ask about the hickeys but the event was inevitable.

"Oh Jong Woo" a co-worker exclaimed "I see you had fun with somebody last night" she teased.

"I just have a cold you know I don't have a girlfriend" Jong Woo responded. "Oh then get well soon!" She said in an uncomfortable tone.

Jong Woo was tired, work had been exhausting but the thought of dealing with Moon jo exhausted him even more.

He entered his apartment only to be greeted by moon jo leaning against a wall waiting for him.

"Look I'm tired I can't deal with whatever you are about to-" Jong Woo started "You wanted answers right?" Moon jo interrupted him.

They sat on the dining table facing each other, two plates with pasta were placed in front of them with lit candles in the middle of the table.

"What is this?" Jong Woo asked. "You know we've never been on a date before so i-" Moon Jo started but quickly got interrupted "Yeah yeah whatever, you said you would give me answers right?" Jong Woo asked as he got a nod in return.

"Why do you keep bothering me? I already know that officer Hwa is alive and well, you aren't manipulating me right now so why are you still here."

"Jong Woo I've told you before that you are my best creation, I simply cannot let you go so easily. We are truly alike you just haven't fully realized it yet."

So many questions ran through Jong Woo's head. How are we alike? What are his motives? How many more "creations" are out there? Were they alive or not?

"The split personality, tell me about that" Jong Woo said

Moon Jo pulled out his phone from his pocket and played a video.

It was a recording from the night when Moon Jo kissed Jong Woo.

"That's us?!" Jong Woo shouted "Also why are there cameras in my house?!"

Moon jo ignored his question "Did that refresh your memory?"

"No" Jong Woo responded "I still don't get it also answer my questions damn it why are there cameras-" Moon jo got up and leaned towards Jong Woo grabbing his face and kissing him roughly on the lips.

He pulled away to catch his breath while mumbling in-between kissed "God you can be so annoying"

It took a while for Jong Woo to realize what was actually happening but he didn't pull away. Something about it felt good. His mind hated Moon jo and wanted to choke him to death but his heart was pounding so loudly he was pretty sure Moon jo can hear it.

Jong Woo finally pulled away. For a second everything was quiet neither of them knew what to say but soon the silence was broken by a phone call on Moon Jo's phone.

"I have to take this stay right here" Moon jo left.
