Ariel POV
16 year old Ariel stood in front of her angry Father as her half brother Xander and half sister Becca tried to get her to stop talking. Ariel knew they were correct and that she had promised to just let Xander convince her Father to continue to allow her to live in his mansion and go to the Private School all his other Children had or currently still attended. Her Father always caused a red hot anger to rise in her and here she was mouthing off again. Looking at Ariel you never would have known the Storm brewing within her tho. Her beautiful face was carefully devoid of any emotion. Her tone was sarcastic without a hint of any of the underlying storm.

She did not fully trust Xander or Becca but she stopped talking and allowed them to push her back into her chair. She seldom cared about where she lived or what School she was going to. Two weeks in this School had changed that. Ariel was brilliant with a photographic memory. In spite of being expelled from the boarding school that she had been sent to she was still academically a top student there. Thomson Harrison Academy was different than any of the other many Schools she had attended. One it was named after her biological paternal Great Grandfather but more importantly were the resources it offered. After only two weeks Ariel was already mesmerized by all the opportunities for on hand learning the Academy offered. Already in her Junior year of High School it was rather late to attend the 13 year private School but Ariel still hoped to graduate from this School.

Xander POV
His Father and Mother, Alexander and Christina, had just returned from a 2 week cruise. During that time his half sister Ariel had managed to get kicked out of the Boarding School she was attending. Not knowing what else to do with his little Sister, 26 year old Xander had brought her home and sent her to School with his younger brothers and sisters. He knew from experience how angry Ariel made his Father, how much pain her very existence caused his Mother and that many of his siblings, especially his brother Sebastian, hated Ariel for his Mother's sake. After all he had seen what his Father and Sebastian did to Ariel when she was only 12 years old and mouthed off. It had cost a fortune and taken months of cosmetic surgery to repair her face and repair her broken ribs. After that he had been in favor of sending her to a Boarding School.

Countless expulsions had been the result but at this last School she was attacked by the man who was supposed to protect her. The pervert head master was attacked by Ariel. Xander was amazed his little sister could inflict so much damage but the man did deserve it. Ariel had defensively kicked him in his erection multiple times while nearly blinding him. The Boarding School's Security ended up locking up an enraged Ariel in a padded room and the Head Master had demanded she be removed immediately. His Father was off in the middle of the ocean somewhere without phone connection so Xander sent some of their guards to retrieve her. Making the self righteous Head Master pay for attacking his little sister had come easily to Xander. What to do with an angry, stone faced 16 year old was much more difficult. In spite of that Xander has no intention of allowing his Father to put Ariel into yet another Boarding School. His stubborn little sister was her own worst enemy tho. Indeed she was every bit as angry and unreasonable as his Father was. So he felt relieved when she quit talking and sat back down so he could convince his Father.

Becca POV
27 year old Becca also felt relieved when Ariel quit talking and sat back down. Becca hated conflict and it felt like she was always trying to calm down her angry Father. She was the only person that could please her Father when he became enraged. Her Mother Suzanne tended to appease him but in a way that only made him angrier. She suspected her Mother did that purposely but she was unsure. She loved her Mother and felt horrible about the pain her Father's infidelity had and was still causing her. She was fearful that Ariel would literally cause her Father or brother Sebastian to kill her. That had almost happened when she was 12. In spite of nearly being beaten to death Ariel seemed to have no fear for how dangerous their Father could be.

Becca knew Xander was ruthless as well but he was always in control. That is only reason why she agreed to help him convince her Father to allow Ariel to live here. In spite of Becca's uncertainty that whether that was even a good idea? Being attacked at that Boarding School was unacceptable tho. No matter how much of a pain Ariel could be she did certainly not deserve have an adult in a position of trust sexually abuse her. She was still shocked at how violent Ariel had been but she she was also relieved. There is no way she could have defended herself like that. Not that she would ever have to. In a family of divided loyalties to one another they all adored Becca. If she could just teach Ariel to behave like her she knew Ariel's life would be so much easier. Surely the girl was not serious about wanting to join the military after HS. She probably only said that to cause her Father to get angry.

Ariel had no idea why her father was so upset that she wanted to join the military after graduation. For the last 3 years she had spent her summers at a boot camp type military camp. When she misbehaved they just made her do extra pushups or running laps. Which actually calmed her down. She knew the Camp was suppose to be for problem kids but it was the only thing that had ever worked on her behavior. She was less than certain she would like actually like joining the Military but it was far better than the boarding schools she attended. For some reason the idea of joining the military made her Father angry tho. Really angry. Most Father's would be proud their daughter wanted to starve her Country but instead her Father was angry. Then again her Father had blamed for her being put in foster care group home and after a year the media finding out. In her Father's eyes everything would always be her fault.

Now Xander was assuring her Father that she did not actually want to join the Military. Feeling frustrated Ariel began to hope her Father just sent her away to another boarding school instead. As much as she wanted to stay in this Academy she was not sure she could live with them. Once she graduated at 18, she was getting far away from this whole family. Maybe join the military, maybe get a job or maybe get a scholarship to college but one way or another get far away from this family that had plagued her since she was 4 years old. She had been broke for a year while living in foster care so she was not afraid. She did not need their money tho she knew they would never believe that. She just needed to be an adult. Still she had promised Zander and Becca so she remained quiet and just listened as they convinced her Father.
