Nat Confession

As Nat starts tapping his nightstand trying to find his phone to turn off that horrible noise. As he sits up and starts to stretch, he remembers that today is the day he is going to confess his feelings to max. First, he has to see if max is available to hangout, he starts by sending a good morning cat sticker. Right before he has the chance to get off the line app, he receives a reply from max saying "Good morning Nong Nat do you need something" Nat text back "I was wondering if you wanted to hangout since it our day off" Max replies "Sure I am in the middle of working out I will come pick up about 10:30" Nat send a thumbs up. With a smile on his face, he starts his morning scroll on Instagram and twitter making sure he likes and comments on his DMD friends posts and tweets.

Looking at the time he hops out of bed and hurries off to the bathroom to take a shower. When he gets done drying off, he grabs his HeartEtc sweatshirt in the color lilac and his pair of ripped black jeans then looks at the mirror thinking I look good I wonder what Max will think. As he makes his way downstairs to the kitchen, he is trying to decide what he wants to eat for breakfast. When he opens the fridge he sees blueberry yogurt, milk for cereal, and a container of strawberries. When reaching for the strawberries he remembers he needs to grab the condensed milk from the cabinet. He grabs a few handfuls of strawberries and puts them in a bowl for a quick rinse and he grabs the condensed milk and heads to the table. When he sits at the table, he opens TikTok to watch while he eats breakfast. When he notices the time, it reads 10:15, Shit he thinks and quickly puts his dishes in the sink to deal with later and runs upstairs to his room. He puts on his white Nike socks and his black Converse and before walking out of his room he puts on his vanilla perfume because Max said he liked the smell of it. "Hello N'Nat you look really cute" Max said while putting the car into park. Nat replied "thanks" while trying to keep a straight face while his heart is beating 1000 BPM.

"So, Nat, what did you want to do today?" Max asked "I want to watch the new Garfield movie that came out a few days ago and get ice cream" Nat said with his doe eyes knowing that Max wouldn't be able to resist them. As Max made the drive to the movie theater, he noticed that Nat was quiet and seemed to be distracted by something, so he turned on their favorite playlist hoping to put Nat in a better mood. "Nat...Nat... NAT" Max raised his voice to get Nat attention. "What P'Max" with a confused look on his face trying to figure out while being loud. "I was trying to get your attention, are you feeling, okay?" Max said with a worried tone. "Yeah, now let's go I don't want to miss the previews" Nat said while getting out of the car. "What can I do for y'all today?" said the movie usher. "Can we get two tickets to Garfield, Large popcorn with butter, and two medium drinks one cherry Pepsi and one sprite and that will all for today" Max told the worker. "Here you go and enjoy the movie" the worker said in a cheerful voice. Max and Nat grabbed their popcorn and drink and headed to the theater. They had arrived about 20 minutes early so they had time to get comfy into their seats and use the restroom if needed. As the lights dimmed and the preview's started Nat was seeing all the movies he and Max could when they are boyfriends, Nat quickly put a stop to the thought he hasn't even confessed yet. As the movie playing, he starts to get uncomfortable in the seat Max notice and leaned over to Nat and whisper in his ear "If you want you can lean on if you need to" Nat was so happy that the theater was dark, and nobody could see how red his ears were getting then proceed to take Max offers and put his head on his shoulder. Nat happened to get a whiff of Max cologne and thought to himself hmm did he get a new cologne? It smells really good, then went back to watching the movie. As the lights came back on Nat took a minute for his eyes to get adjusted to the brightness and made sure he had all his belongings and his trash. While they were walking back to the car Max asked, "what do you want to do next?" With a big smile Nat replied "Time to get ice cream. My mouth is all salty from the popcorn" Max nodded and headed to their go to ice cream shop.

On the way they talked about their favorite parts of the movies and what previews they seemed interested in. When they get to the shop, they already know they wanted, Nat gets 2 scoops of strawberry ice cream in a bowl with rainbow sprinkles and Max gets 1 scoop of vanilla in a bowl. "Your ice cream is boring" Nat says while looking at the difference between their bowls of ice cream. Max just giggled and guided Nat to a table to eat. While they were eating, they just talked about all of their upcoming events and Max's trip with Net and Zee. When Max was looking at Nat, he noticed that he had a little bit of ice cream on the side of lips so without thinking he just used his finger to wipe it then licked his finger and went back to finishing up his ice cream. On the other hand, Nat was frozen and could feel the whole zoo in his stomach. After they both finished their bowls, they got up and headed back to the car. About 5 minutes into driving Max realized that Nat was sleeping so he just let him and would wake him when they reached his house. He looks so cute when he is sleeping, he grabbed his phone and proceeded to take a few pictures to add to his album of Nat sleeping "Nat wake up we are at your house" Max said softly so he didn't startle Nat. While Nat was working on waking up, he realized that he still had one thing to do before he got out of the car. "Max... I... I need to tell you something" Nat said feeling like he was about to throw up. "Sure, you know you tell me anything" Max said nervously. "Ilikeyou" Nat said so quickly he was not even 100% what he said. "What I didn't understand what you said" Max said feeling very confused and worried about his Nong. "I Like You Max" Nat Said with everything he could muster in that moment. He was about to open the car door when something gripped his other wrist before he opened the door. He looked at Max and saw that he was frozen with his mouth gaping a little. "Just forget I said anything. I hope I didn't ruin our friendship" Nat said with tears starting well up into his eyes. "Nat...Nat" Max said, putting his hands on Nat's cheeks to get him to look at him. When Nat finally looked at Max, he could feel his heart ache a little. He hates seeing Nat cry no matter what the reason is. "Nat, I like you too" Max said feeling a little lighter after holding that in for years. It was now Nat's turn to be frozen with his mouth gaping a little. Max started to feel like the distance between them was too big and slowly started to lean in. After Nat came to senses he asked "what are you doing P'Max" "Asking you to be my boyfriend" replied max with a smirk. Nat wasn't able to form any words so nodded his head as the tears he was holding back started to fall because never in a million years he thought Max would like him back. "Can I kiss you?" asked Max. With that they both started to lean in and shared a simple kiss.

"P'Max do you want to come inside" asked Nat with a smile. "Sure" replied Max also with a smile on his face.
