It was the night of the meeting, and Kana stood in her room, getting ready to head out. She wore her usual Toman gear—a white tubed top, her toman coat, a black skirt, and her boots. As she checked herself in the mirror, she couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement mixed with trepidation. The impending gang fight was on everyone's mind, and she knew that tonight's meeting would be vital in planning their approach.
Kana took a deep breath, steeling herself for the night ahead. She thought to herself, a mix of apprehension and determination filled her mind. The meeting tonight will set the tone for the fight ahead, and she couldn't show any weakness, she never did, and she never will.
As Takemichi entered her room, Kana's thoughts were interrupted by his sudden appearance. She snapped out of her reverie and looked up at him, noticing the bandages on his face. "Hey, Takemichi.." she said, her soft voice filled with concern. "How are you holding up? You're looking pretty roughed up."
He scratched the back of his head nervously, his expression sheepish. "Heh, yeah, I've seen better days, that's for sure," he said with a half-hearted chuckle. "But don't worry, I'll be fine. You know me, always bouncing back from these fights." He gave Kana a small smile, trying to downplay the seriousness of his injuries.
Kana chuckled softly, shaking her head in a mixture of amusement and concern. "Looks like you really took another beating again this time." she said, her expression softening as she looked at him. "Those Ronin guys really gave you a tough time. But hey, I have no doubt you put up a good fight." She reached out and gently punched his shoulder. "I just hope you're not trying to pull a 'heroic' act and ignoring your own injuries. Don't think I didn't notice you limping when you walked in here."
Takemichi laughed softly, realizing she had caught him. "Alright alright, you got me," he admitted with a sheepish grin. "But hey, I couldn't just sit around and let my friends fight alone, could I?" He leaned on the wall, wincing slightly as he moved. "It's nothing I can't handle, though. Just a few scratches and bruises, that's all."
She rolled her eyes at his statement. "A few scratches and bruises? Sure, sure," she said, a hint of playful sarcasm in her tone.
He chuckled softly before nodding his head. He gently pushed himself off the wall and gestured for Kana to follow him. "Enough about me, we should get going to the meeting. The others are probably waiting, and Mikey will kill us if we're late."
She nodded in agreement, her expression turning serious. "Yeah, you're right. This meeting is going to be a serious one." she said, her tone tinged with both anticipation and worry. She took a deep breath and gave Takemichi a firm nod. "Let's go then."
Takemichi and Kana stepped out of their house, the atmosphere surrounding them filled with a mix of determination and tension. As they made their way towards Toman's designated hideout, the weight of the upcoming gang fight hung heavily in the air. Yet, they couldn't afford to let their nerves get the better of them. With each step they took, they steeled themselves, knowing that the upcoming meeting would set the tone for their battle against Kiyomasa and his gang.
As Kana walked next to her brother, her mind raced with anticipation and apprehension. The upcoming meeting felt like a pivotal moment for Toman, and the weight of it all was palpable. She took a deep breath, silently urging herself to stay calm and focused. With each step they took, she grew more and more determined.
As Takemichi followed Kana, his mind was consumed by thoughts of the upcoming meeting, the confrontation with Kiyomasa and his gang, and the involvement of his little sister. He felt a mixture of anger and protectiveness bubbling up inside him as he considered the risks she was facing by being associated with him and Toman. The responsibility and worry weighed heavily on his shoulders, and he couldn't shake the growing worry and frustration aside.
