(Kali)"No no, he wasn't harming me, i allowed it, I ALLOWED IT" I grabbed at her arms for her to let him go, but her grip was deathly, she was locked in on him. His face had turned shades of red, then purple.
"My Queen please, he meant no harm to her" Damien pleaded.
Damien had burst in, kneeled on the floor and looking away in fear of witnessing Felix's last breathe it seemed.
My mind raced for the best solution. I'd been held by her, her grip was never one I could ever undo when I wanted to. The only thing I could think of to do was say her name.
"CASSANDRA" I yelled, I sunk my claws into her arms in an effort to drag her hand away. It seemed to do the trick as I watched Felix crumple to the ground and gasp for air. She stood frozen, watching as he begged for mercy with only the incoherent sounds he was making. She turned to face me, her expression a mix of anger and confusion.
"He did me no harm" I say softly. She nods slowly, still frozen in place. At this moment, Damien had rushed to Felix side and swiftly took him in his arms and away.
The room smelled of vampire blood now. Felix had bled out on the floor, and onto the queens hands.
A few seconds after Damien ran out with Felix a fleet of guards flooded the entrance, asking what had happened and what must be done. The queen stood there absently for a few minutes, seemingly at a loss for what to do, ignoring everyone and everything until the prince appeared.
"Sister, are you alright, I didn't mean to upset you" Leonel apologized as he pushed through the fleet into the room.
His voice seemed to have brought her back,
"I-.... I am fine, I came to administer aid.. leave us alone" Her voice was broken, as she spoke she looked at me. Her expression was unlike any id seen her face make.
The prince ordered the guards away, and stood in the entrance for a bit before saying
"Cassy, we will talk in the morning, have a good night" he closed the doors of the room, leaving the two of us alone with each other.
The queen stayed silent for a bit. Eventually, she slowly travelled to the sink, and washed the blood off her hands. She then made her way to the two seats near the desk. She sat down and signaled for me to sit down as well. I did.
"Your wounds" She said quietly as she signaled for me to show them, I gave her access to my arms, the easiest for her to help with. They were sore, and had several small cuts. She reached into the bottom drawers of the desk I had never thought to open and pulled out a large black kit full of medical supplies and viles of blood.
As she cared for my arms, carefully apply ointments and bandages to each cut. She was calculated with her treatment, doing the same tedious step for each and every cut. Her fingers would occasionally brush parts of my arm, her cold touch sent a sensation to my stomach. I tried to focus on other things to keep myself calm and noticed the claw markings I had left on her arm. It was bleeding out and the holes were deep.
"Your arm" I said
She glanced at the wounds and then looked away, as if they were nothing. "It's fine. I have viles, I will heal." She was trying to reassure me she was okay, but I felt a bit guilt wash over me. Even through our week of fights, I hadn't made her bleed like this.
I guess I was staring at her wound too hard and she noticed.
She paused, her hands hovering over my bandages. "It's not the first time I've been hurt, and it won't be the last... what I did was.." she didn't finish her sentence. She wrapped my arms in silence, then to my surprise knelt down to start on my legs. She started the same process on my lower wounds, giving it her full attention until,
