• NARRATOR POV •
All but one Ninja had gathered on the deck of the Destiny bounty, all training or testing their limits.
Y/N was meditating on the bow of the deck, focusing his energy on trying to dispel the tingling sensation that had still not gone away.
"Earth!!" Cole called, attacking what seemed to be a Serpentine.
Meanwhile, Kai was inside the Bounty, putting on the green Gi, "Whoo-hoo!"
"Lightning!" Jay exclaimed, attacking what seemed to be another Serpentine on the deck.
"Ice!" Zane yelled, attacking another serpentine. That's when a floodlight was turned on and the enemies revealed themselves to be dummies. Y/N slowly opened his eyes, standing up and stretching his arms.
"Good training. Your powers are getting stronger. But where's Kai?" Nya asked.
Meanwhile, still inside the Bounty, Kai was stood in front of a mirror, trying desperately to unlock his elemental power.
"Fire! Unlock Fire! Uh, Fire go! Shoot flames! Oh, come on. Everyone else can do it. So can you. BRING HEAT!" He repeated, as the others slowly flooded into the room, laughing a little.
"Very nice. Perhaps if you tried the phrase "Fire dork," maybe it might work." Cole quipped.
"How long have you all been watching?!" Kai asked panicked, as he quickly took the mask off.
"The Green Ninja suit. That's awesome!" Jay exclaimed, Y/N smiling slightly before it dropped.
"Well, I was looking for some kind of clue from Sensei and then I found this..." Kai explained sheepishly.
"But you know only he who is foretold to face Lord Garmadon is destined to be the Green Ninja, and only he should wear the Green Ninja outfit. So Sensei would most likely be very-" Zane was cut off.
"I know, I know. But I thought if I just tried it on, it might help me see my True Potential. It's not fair that you guys have unlocked your cool powers and I still haven't. Besides, Sensei's gone and we don't know when he's coming back-" Kai was also cut off by the sound of a door opening.
"Hello? I'm home." A familiar voice called out.
"Sensei!" The others, besides Kai and Y/N, cheered before running onto the Deck to greet him.
"Ah. It's so good to be home." Wu sighed, looking at the team, besides one.
"So glad you're back." Zane greeted, Y/N nodding in agreement.
"Did you bring us anything?" Cole asked, Y/N gently hitting his arm as a scold to be polite, unsure if he was joking or not.
"Oh, Sensei, have you missed a lot. Zane's a Nindroid, Nya's the mysterious Samurai, Cole's a dancer-" Jay began rambling.
"Zane is a...what?" Wu asked, confused.
"You've been gone a while. We'll catch you up later. But you should know, all of us except for Kai have discovered our True Potential." Zane explained.
"Have you now? Where is Kai?" Wu asked.
"Right here. So glad you're back safe." Kai said, back in his own Gi. Then, Garmadon emerged from behind Wu. "Aah! Sensei, behind you!" Kai went to attack Garmadon whilst Zane dived in front of Wu.
