Scene starts in the basement,
The hungry flames tried to binge eat the humans inside the room.

They both coughed vigorously, their lungs tired of inhailing the smoke when Rhea slowly drowned into unconsciousness.

Kartik(coughing)(patting Rhea's cheeks): Rhea..R..Rhea.....utho....(panting)....utho Rhea.....t..tumhe kuch nahi ho sakta. HELP!!
Kartik(teary eyed)(coughing): Rhea.....Rh...rhea utho please....oho oho! Rhea...Rhea p...please utho...
Kartik coughed severely as he screamed for help and Rhea to stay conscious.

Kartik: SAMEER! MAA!!! HELP!!!!MAA!!!!

Kartik got tired of banging the door and sat down enveloping himself and Rhea in a blanket in order to avoid getting burnt.

Kartik(in mind)(teary eyed): Kanha jii.....please maddat karo meri.....pleaseeeee........

Upstairs,

Karishma was speaking to a guest of hers when suddenly she smelled burning.
Karishma(in mind): Yeh jalne ki boo kaha se aa rahi hain? Kahi kitchen mein kuch.....
Karishma was going towards the kitchen when suddenly a servant came running to the hall panting screaming......

"Aag lag hain! Basement mein aag lagi hain!"

Ahaan(fearful): Basement mein......Rhea basement mein hain......RHEA!
Siya: Bhaiya bhi toh basement mein hain....Bhaiya!!

The Oberois ran hurriedly to the basement only to find the basement door locked from outside.
Neelam: Yeh bahar se lock kisne kiya? Chaabi kaha hain iski?
Servant: Pata nahi ma'am...kahi nahi mil rahi hain. Chaabi waale ko phone kiya hain ma'am.
Sameer: Itna wakt nahi hain.....darwaza todna parega.
Ayush: Sameer sahi keh raha hain.....

Rishi, Ayush and Sameer together broke the door only to find the whole room getting gulped by the hungry flames. At a corner of the room.....they saw Kartik and Rhea unconscious on the floor...enveloped in a single blaThe servants threw water and the fire slowly started dying down when Sameer and others brought Rhea and Kartik out from the room.

Neelam(teary eyed): Rishi...doctor ko bulao....immediately....
Rishi: Jii.....

Kartik and Rhea were brought to the guest room.

Priya rushed inside along with Ritesh unknown that they both rushed inside together.

Priya(teary eyed): Kartik....kya hua ise?
Shalu(teary eyed): Pata nahi Priya.....kaise hua yeh sab.
Ritesh(teary eyed): Yeh dono aag mein fase kaise?

Before anyone could speak.....the doctor came inside along with Virendra.

The doctor checked both of them.

Doctor: Inn dono ne bohot zyada smoke inhale kar liya hain...isiliye behosh ho gaye hain. Uske alawa chote mote burns hain par vo theek ho jaaenge. Chinta ki koi baat nahi hain. Thode wakt mein inhe hosh aa jaaega....aap sab room se bahar chale jaaiye.

The doctor did the necessary treatment and left. The family members were sitting inside a single room.....thinking how all these happened when Harleen dadi spoke teary eyed.

Harleen(teary eyed): Itne subh din par yeh sab kya ho gaya? Jiski sagai hone waali thi uske saath aisa kyun ho gaya?
Sonia(evily): Yeh sab kyun ho gaya yeh sochna chod kar....aap sabko yeh nahi lagta ki humein yeh sochna chahiye ki yeh inhi dono ke saath kyun hua?
Karishma: Tum kehna kya chahti ho Sonia?
Sonia(evily): Simple si baat hain bua....jab bhi koi bhi haadsa hota hain....tab Kartik aur Priya nahi....Kartik aur Rhea saath mein paaye jaate hain. Don't you feel strange ki hamesha yahi dono kyun harr jagah saath hote hain? Kyun Rhea hamesha Kartik ke saath hoti hain? Why not Priya?
Neelam(sighing): Tum kya kehna chahti ho Sonia? Saaf saaf kaho.....
Ayush: Saaf saaf hi keh rahi hain Sonia. Sonia ke kehne ka matlab hain ki Kartik aur Rhea ke beech kuch shayad chal raha hain jo humein pata nahi hain. Hain na Sonia?
Sonia: Exactly! Warna aap sab hi sochiye.....ki Kartik hamesha Rhea ke saath hi kyun hota hain? Hamesha Rhea ke saath hi kyun fas jaata hain?
Priya(teary eyed): Aap jo bhi keh rahi hain please mat kahiye......mujhe Kartik par poora bharosa hain....vo kabhi mere saath kuch galat nahi karega.
Malishka(smirking): Aaj kal ke zamane par na bharosa sirf uss par karna chahiye jiske paas paise hain. Kartik thehra ek middle class ladka......aur Rhea....crorepati.....toh ho sakta hain ki Kartik Rhea ko.....
