Ranbir felt uneasy moving through the full temple, feeling awkward among the religious devotees. Although not being religious by nature, he was drawn to this location today for an unexplainable reason.

His gaze strayed to a group of young ladies standing close to the entrance, their laughter and chattering amidst the commotion. And Prachi was standing there, in the middle of the group, her beautiful smile illuminating the dark surroundings.

Ranbir couldn't take his eyes off of her for a brief moment. She had performed for him on stage, and he had witnessed her fierce energy and stubborn resolve, but there was something new, something softer, more vulnerable, about her now.

Prachi turned to face him, as if sensing his presence, and her eyes widened in astonishment as a warm grin blossomed on her lips. "Ranbir?" she exclaimed, her voice fragile but sincere.

Ranbir couldn't quite place the strange flutter that he felt in his chest when he heard her speak. He replied, "Prachi," unable to control the smile that was tugging at his lips.

They exchanged an peaceful gaze, and for a moment, the outside world vanished, leaving only the two of them standing there, caught in one other's glances.

But a sudden blast of wind cut short the sweet moment together, threatening to blow out the flickering diya that was placed on the altar nearby.

Ranbir moved instinctively, leaping forward and placing his hand to protect the small flame from the wind. His hand and Prachi's met in that instant, their fingers entwined as they united to keep the sacred flame safe.

They stood there with their hands locked together, a shared purpose causing time seem to stop. Ranbir had a wave of tranquillity at that very moment, as though everything in his chaotic world had unexpectedly fallen into place.

However, the moment was gone too soon, with Ranbir and Prachi standing there with their hands still intertwined and their eyes fixed in unspoken understanding.

Prachi blushed and lowered her eyes as they carefully separated their hands, suddenly feeling self-conscious under the intense gaze of Ranbir.

Prachi's friends and family started to disperse as she found herself staying at the temple entrance, her heart still pounding from her unplanned meeting with Ranbir. She felt as though there was something she should say to him, even though her mother insisted that they should leave.

Ranbir seems hesitant to leave as well, remaining close by as though she was awaiting a chance to say something. And when their gazes locked again, Prachi experienced a flash of courage that propelled her to move toward him.

Her voice was barely heard above a whisper as she began, "Ranbir, main bas vahaan diya bachane ke liye aapko dhanyavad kehna chahta tha(I just wanted to say thank you for saving the diya back there.)"

At her remarks, Ranbir's gaze softened and a small grin appeared at the corners of his lips. "Yah kuch bhi nahi tha(It was nothing)," he replied back, his tone soft but earnest. "Main bas khada hokar ise bahar jate hue nahi dekh sakata tha(I couldn't just stand by and watch it go out.)"
