I sat at the kitchen table with Adrien who was telling me how he started to learn about Titanic in school and he was actually interested in it, we told him that we were on Titanic but he doesn't remember it, maybe it's time we tell him again, he is 15 now" Dad? Are you even listening to me?" He asked and I nodded " Yeah, Titanic was the biggest ship of her time and was claimed unsinkable" " Yes and no, JP Morgan claimed her to be nearly unsinkable and do you even know why it sank?" I looked at him thinking of when we hit the iceberg and seeing the poor boy and his father, thinking about Cora, her little smile and Thomas Andrews '' Dad!" " Yes?" I looked at him " Do you know why Titanic sank?" " I'll be back I have to talk to your mother" He nodded and continued on his paper and Titanic " Rose honey?" I walked into the bedroom seeing her make her side of the bed " Yea?" She turned around " What do we do? Adrien keeps asking me all about the Titanic, like he's really interested in it" " Do you think we should tell him?" " I mean he is 15" we looked at each other sighing " Let's tell him" she pulled me out to the kitchen" Adrien" he looked up at us as me and Rose sat at the table " Yeah?" " We have something to tell you, and don't go to school bragging about it" Rose said " Not like this is something you should brag about " " I won't, I promise beside I'm not a person who likes bragging " " So you know how you like the Titanic?" Rose asked me and I nodded " Sure he's old enough to hear it" " Cal was my Fiance at the time,we were going to New York for our wedding. Now I was depressed miserable, and nobody noticed. So I ran to my stateroom and had a break down and I tried to jump off of the Stern of Titanic but your father saved me, then we invited him for dinner then he took me to a party in 3rd class" Adrien leaned in closely getting to a new piece of paper " May I right it down and use it for a history project?" He asked and I looked at Rose who nodded yes, he quickly wrote what was said so far " Cal had his valid Lovejoy spy on us and he got mad flipped a table freaking out, then my mother told me I wasn't allowed to see your father again, while Thomas Andrews, may God rest his soul" she stopped talking and I did a little silent prayer for him " was giving me my mother and Cal a tour of the ship" Oh Yeah Thomas Andrews Lord Pierre's nephew, when his uncle died he took over designing Titanic" " Wait you knew Thomas Andrews!" " Let your mother finish or you won't hear it" he quickly shut up and kept writing "Jack pulled me into the gym trying to convince me to go with him" " Then she said no and left, I then went to the bow of Titanic to think about what happened and then she came up to me and we admired the sunset and shared our first kiss" " Then she took my to her stateroom were I drew her nude and we ran away from Lovejoy" Eww I didn't need to know that part" we rolled out eyes shaking our heads" We went through the boiler rooms and ended up in the cargo space and you don't need to know " You guys had sex didn't you " " Adrien" Rose sighed " Yeah and after that we ran up to the deck and that's when the iceberg struck and we went to her stateroom to warn her mother and Cal about the collision when Lovejoy snuck the heart of the ocean necklace in my pocket to frame me" He looked so excited I've never seen him so interested in our lives before" I got arrested and Rose was forced back with them then Lovejoy and a ship officer locked me up. Lovejoy left me handcuffed to a pole and left leaving me to die while the ship flooded" " Then Mr. Andrews told me in 2 hours Titanic would be at the bottom of the Atlantic and when I was going to board a lifeboat I realized Cal framed Jack" " So I ran to find Mr.Andrews and found Jack I had to break his handcuffs off with an axe, we tried getting to the deck but it was flooding to fast and Jack and his friends Tommy and Fabrizio and some random dude grabbed a bench breaking a gate down" " And when we were finally on deck I got Rose into a lifeboat but she jumped off we met at the Grand staircase and hugged kissed and cried then Cal tried shooting us chasing us back down into the sinking ship and I got to beat the shit out of by Lovejoy and I messed him up pretty good too" "I threw myself into a door and we got slammed into gates almost stuck in certain areas, then we got back up deck and we held onto the stern till it was underwater and she was on a door and I was in the icy waters and we were rescued" I finished off the story as Adrien finished writing" That's so cool, I mean not the people dying part like all the stuff before Titanic sank" We chuckled a little remembering all our friends we lost that night, even if we knew them for a few days or years" What's the project about?" I asked " The teacher said to write an essay about Titanic, and if you had a family member who experienced it you could include it " " That's cool well we'll let you work on it show us when your done " Rose said getting up and went to the room and I grabbed my drawing supplies sitting next to him " How about I teach you how to draw and then I'll draw sime pretty cool things I saw, matter of fact I think I might still have my sketchbook from Titanic " Adriens face lit up and I went to the room through my nightstand" What are you in a rush for?" Rose asked " Adrien wants to see my sketchs from Titanic " she nodded her head smiling as I rushed out of the room" Here be very careful it's delicate" I said carefully putting it on the table" They recovered it from the wreck when they went back for bodies, someone was holding onto it for a little bit of floatation they could get I guess, but I was able to get it back" I said carefully opening it showing him the drawings they looked like they did the day I drew them " Oh look there's Cora, she was this sweet little girl I met who called me Uncle Jack" " Have you seen her after the sinking?" He asked and I looked down at the drawing getting teary eyed " Umm she didn't make it" I wiped my eyes trying not to cry " Oh I'm sorry " " It's fine, look there's her and her Dad" I pointed out I meant to give them the drawing but I forgot" My eyes!"Adrien yelled looking away covering his face after he flipped to Rose's drawing " Oops sorry about that bud, maybe don't show that to your class" I chuckled flipping to the next drawing " You can look now bud, but there are a few you can't show your class without asking your teachers " he nodded " May I take it tomorrow and ask her?" I thought for a moment and nodded " Keep it in your bag safely and don't show anyone other than your teacher" he nodded I would take the ones he can't show out but the paper is so fragile I wouldn't risk it
