As Tranika watched Niti reluctantly get into the car with the driver, her heart clenched with worry. She longed to be by Niti's side, to offer comfort and reassurance. But duty called, and she couldn't ignore the injured man who needed her assistance.
Inside the hospital, Tranika waited anxiously for news on Mr. Rajput's condition. Despite the tension of the situation, she couldn't shake the strange fondness she felt for him. There was something about him that drew her in-a warmth and kindness that seemed at odds with his steely exterior.
When the doctor emerged, Tranika's concern peaked. She listened intently as he reassured her that Mr. Rajput was stable and could be discharged. Relief flooded through her, but her relief was short-lived as she realized she would have to drive him home.
Tranika: How are you feeling, Mr. Rajput?
Atharva couldn't stop looking at Tranika. There was something about her that stirred up emotions inside him that he couldn't explain. From the moment he saw her, he felt a strong connection, reminding him of someone he had lost a few years ago. Tranika looked so much like that person, and it filled him with a deep sense of longing.
As he watched her, Atharva's feelings grew. He admired her and felt a strong pull towards her, but it wasn't romantic. It was like a brother's love. He felt protective and caring, wishing she would see him in a special, loving way.
Atharva couldn't resist the urge to close this emotional gap. The desire to hear Tranika call him "bhai" - brother - became overwhelming. The thought of hearing that simple word from her lips was something he longed for with all his heart. It felt like the missing piece in his life, a way to honor the memory of the person he had lost while forging a new, cherished bond with Tranika.
With a mix of anticipation and anxiety, Atharva finally decided to voice his feelings."I am good, and call me Atharva or bhai."
Tranika experienced a rush of strange emotions coursing through her body. Atharva's request caught her completely off guard. She never expected him to ask her to call him "bhai." The word itself carried a heavy weight, laden with memories and pain. For Tranika, the idea of brotherly affection was tainted by her past experiences.
Her own brother had never shown her the care and love a sibling should. Instead, he subjected her to relentless mental and physical abuse, leaving scars that ran deep. The word "bhai" was a trigger, a reminder of her suffering and the betrayal of familial bonds. It was a topic she was highly sensitive about, one she rarely spoke of and often tried to bury deep within her mind.
As Atharva stood before her, his eyes filled with hope and sincerity, Tranika felt a conflict within her heart. She saw the genuine affection in his eyes, the longing for a brotherly bond that he seemed to cherish. Yet, her past made it hard for her to accept such a request without feeling a wave of anxiety and fear.
Tranika took a deep breath, trying to steady her racing thoughts. She wanted to trust Atharva, to believe in the purity of his intentions, but her past loomed large, casting a shadow over the moment. She hesitated, looking into his eyes, searching for the strength to open up about her fears and to perhaps, in time, find a way to redefine what the word "bhai" could mean for her.
She managed to speak "Ok, Bhai, let's go. I'll drop you because you cannot drive."
