I woke up feeling slightly better than before, though my body still ached from the experiments and the recent escape. I took a deep breath, feeling the comforting warmth of the bed beneath me. For the first time in what felt like forever, I felt a glimmer of hope.

Over the next few days, Bruce and the other Avengers visited me regularly, running tests and checking on my well-being and asking about the Maximoff twins. They treated me with kindness and respect, and slowly, I began to trust them. After all they are world saving Heros. I learned more about each of them, their stories, and their struggles.

One morning, as I was finishing breakfast, Steve Rogers walked into my cell. "How are you feeling today?" he asked, his voice gentle.

"Better," I replied, managing a small smile. "Thank you."

Steve nodded. "That's good to hear. We have a lot going on right now, but I wanted to let you know that you're safe here. We're doing everything we can to keep you protected."

My curiosity got the better of me . "What's happening?"

Steve hesitated for a moment, then sighed. "We've been tracking HYDRA's movements. They're still a threat, and we're trying to stop them. But we have lokis staff. We want to train you, outsource your powers for the good"

I shook my head. "Why would you do that?"

"We don't think sending you away would be good, not after what you've endured. We want to help you" Steve explained. "It would also be too dangerous since we don't know the full extent of your powers yet"

I felt a chill run down my spine. "What if I hurt anyone .."

"We're working together to make this place a safe space for you. We've already set up a room for you. Even if you hurt someone were here for you "Steve said

My heart raced. "I don't really have a choice,do I?"

Steve smiled, though it was tinged with sadness. "No, I am sorry. But if you feel up to it, we could use someone with your abilities to help us."

I took a deep breath, considering his words. I had spent so long feeling helpless, trapped by HYDRA's experiments. But now, i had a chance to maybe fight back, to make a difference, but it was scary. I was a child afterall. I didn't know what my powers were capable of.But it's not like I have anywhere else to go. I lived in an Orphanage before, no one probably noticed that I was gone. If they did they were relieved, one less mouth to feed.I nodded slowly. "I'll help. I'll stay. Tell me what I need to do." Even though they Operateur similar to HYDRA Im not really scared since I know that theyre World saving heroes. Theyve saved me.

Steve's smile widened, this time with genuine warmth. "Thank you, Y/N. We'll start with some basic training to get you up to speed. I'll show you around. And remember, you're not alone in this."
Over the next few days I trained and lived with the Avengers, learning to somewhat control my abilities and work alongside them. I found myself growing closer to each of them, especially Natasha Romanoff. Natasha had a way of making me feel at ease, offering advice and support without judgment.
Still my mind pondered whether I should really be an Avenger. I am only 17 years old and quite frankly, a live with only middle aged superhumans did not sound as good as a live as a normal teenager. But I wasn't normal. Not anymore. And never again.
I trained so I couldn't think about it.
