I woke up with a start, my heart racing. It felt like someone was watching me. The room was pitch-black, but I could make out the outline of the unfamiliar bedroom I found myself in. It had a rustic, almost antique feel to it, with dark wooden furniture and heavy drapes. The air was thick with an eerie silence, broken only by the faint creak of a floorboard outside the door.
My breathing slowed as I realised where I was. I had been kidnapped by Vampire Leeknow and his friend Hyunjin. The memory of them bursting into my home and taking me away flooded my mind, sending a shiver down my spine. They had dragged me into a car and then driven for what seemed like hours. I had no idea where I was now.
The silence was deafening, making every tiny sound seem magnified. I heard the soft rustling of cloth against the floor outside the door, followed by the distinct click of a key turning in the lock. A figure stepped into the room, the dim light from the hallway casting a long shadow across the floor.
It was Vampire Leeknow. His eyes locked on mine, and for a moment I couldn't move. His pale face was expressionless, but there was something in his eyes that sent a shiver down my spine. "You're awake," he said, his voice low and eerie. "I'm here to check on you."
I forced myself to sit up in the unfamiliar bed, my back pressed against the headboard. "Where am I?" I managed to choke out. "And what do you want from me?"
Leeknow didn't respond immediately, instead walking over to the bed and sitting down on the edge beside me. His presence was unsettling, and I could feel the weight of his gaze as he studied my face. "You're safe here," he finally said, his voice softening. "We only want what's best for you."
I let out a shaky breath, still struggling to process what was happening. "And what exactly is that?" I managed to ask, my voice barely above a whisper.
Leeknow smiled then, and it sent a chill down my spine. "You'll see," he replied cryptically. "For now, just rest. We'll introduce you to everyone soon enough."
He stood up, his eyes never leaving mine, and walked towards the door. As he turned the handle, a figure stepped into the room, causing me to start in surprise. It was Hyunjin. "I'm here to bring you some food," he said, holding out a tray. "The vampire leader wants to meet with you soon."
I took the tray from him, still feeling uneasy. The food looked delicious, but I didn't know if it was safe to eat. As I ate, Hyunjin sat down on the edge of the bed, watching me carefully. "I just want you to know that we don't want to hurt you," he said quietly. "We're just trying to find a way to make things right."
I glanced up at him, not sure what to say. "And what exactly do you mean by 'right'?" I asked, my voice still shaky. "You
kidnapped me, brought me here... how is that right?"
He didn't answer my question, instead leaning in closer, his expression serious. "Leeknow has big plans for you. He sees something special in you. But first, you need to trust him. You need to trust us."
Then he walked to the door and opened it, revealing a dimly lit hallway. "Come with me," he said. As I stood up, my legs still shaking from fear and confusion, I hesitantly followed him down the hallway. The air was thick with an eerie silence
