She's hungry.

No, she's starving.

She hadn't eaten since yesterday, the last food that entered her stomach was a dry bread that was almost moldy when she was wandering through the forest, and that was 2 days ago.

The rest of the time she just drank the lake water as much as she could to fool her hungry stomach.

But now she desperately needed food. Her wolf fur was starting to show on her face, and long claws were starting to appear on her hands and feet.

Her body began to morph.

Minji coughed and dropped her butt on a boulder, she grunted and stared at her claws.

I need to find some food...I know there's a small village nearby, maybe I can steal some bread or meat from the market.

She pulled the hood of her cloak over her head.
Another few dozen kilometers, I might be able to get there before sunset.

A small movement in the bushes caught her hearing, she turned her head towards the source of the sound which was only about 30 feet away from her. She sharpened her hearing, there was another sound but it sounded fainter than before.

An enemy?

Minji turned her body slowly, squinting her eyes to see the source of the movement in the bushes.

Her body was on high alert.

A white shape suddenly darted from the bottom of the bushes, Minji backed away slightly in surprise, but then she realized it.

A rabbit!

Her animal instincts reacted faster than her brain, she immediately darted after the small white animal. She felt weak but her hungry stomach pumped extra energy to move her body.

The rabbit took a sharp turn, moving from the dirt path to the rocky grass, Minji followed.
The truth was, she didn't want to eat raw meat, or fresh blood. But she didn't want to starve to death.

Minji forced her legs to run faster, she began to lower her body position, both hands began to step on the ground. She ran in her wolf stance now. She was lucky that her claws and paws had already appeared, they helped her to avoid getting hurt from small sharp rocks.

Minji didn't know how far she had run, she couldn't feel her legs, but the rabbit was still at the same speed.

I have to catch it, I have to.

As they began to enter the outskirts of the countryside, the rabbit suddenly accelerated and went into a small hole.

Fuck!

Minji growled angrily and stopped in front of the hole, it was too small, she wouldn't be able to get into it. And with that, her potential meal was gone.
She sat down sluggishly, letting out a small whimpering sound.

She looked around, and realized she was on a hill, her eyes gazing at the village at the bottom of the hill.

I'm close.

But she had no strength left. Her wolf fur began to appear almost all over the surface of her body.

She saw a small cottage not far from her, and it looked uninhabited. Her eyes alternately gazed at the cabin and the village below.
She was starving, but she was also very tired. She considered what to do.

Minji decided to go inside the cabin, a little rest wouldn't hurt her, she hadn't slept well since two days ago.

She got up with difficulty, and crawled towards it. She reached the porch of the cabin, looking hesitantly at the door. She moved her face slightly, trying to sniff. Just the smell of old wood, the smell of mold and dust, but not strong. She backed up a little and went to the window, peeking out cautiously.
