chapter 1: First Contact With Humanity.

In the year 2324, humans had finally found some remnant of extraterrestrial life outside of their solar system. By this time Mars, Venus and some of Jupiter's moons had been terraformed and colonised 2 centuries ago. But they were never able to cryogenically freeze someone for over 40 years leaving them in their own solar alliance. The humans gave the planet a name, calling It “N-1448”. It took 354 light years to reach N-1448 so that means that instead of taking humans they stored probes onto the ship.

The humans used virtual reality to control the probes. So instead of wheels, they had 2 functioning legs, and instead of claws, they had arms to grab and store rocks and remnants off N-1448. They also had a storage compartment where they could store such remnants, making them look like robotic centaurs. The probes didn’t land unarmed, they had machine guns, missiles, laser weapons and even an arsenal of nuclear missiles. 354 years had passed and it was finally time to land. a message was sent into space via solar signals 150 years before the landing. The code showed a map of the stars and where earth was in the galaxy and that humans meant peace.

The ship landed on a rocky ground mixed with sand and dirt. At this time humans thought that N-1448 was recovering from some kind of drought and that it only left small pockets of the native population but they were wrong about what was happening to the population, it was worse than a drought. N-1448 was extremely close to the sun about where Venus would be. The probes wandered for days only stopping when the humans controlling them needed rest, the probes operated via solar panels that were sent out into the atmosphere before landing. There they were able to have a very strong connection to Earth. 5 days had passed and they came across footprints, they seemed fresh as if whatever was here just took a step. The probes looked up, and saw a human-like figure walking into the distance. As they approached the figure became more clear.
Humans decided to call this mysterious figure a “Horpion”.

The Horpion got its name due to its resemblance to a neanderthal and a scorpion. The Horpion’s arms were shaped like a regular prehistoric human’s arm. But, instead of hands, the forearm leads to a sharp piece of bone which is used for hunting, creating, offending and defending. It had a large arm with two opposable thumbs on its back. Its skin orange like the ground, with long, dirty blonde hair like dead grass, It had bark strapped to its face with small cut out holes to breathe and see. The humans were startled by this form and decided to remain armed with guns and melee weapons just in case one the Horpions attacked. They decided to follow the Horpion to its home and were surprised when they saw a thriving village next to a lush lake with trees. They developed a bond with the Horpians and started up the extra probes from the ship to allow more humans to explore the planet. 5 months passed and there was peace between the Horpions and the humans.

But that peace was soon cut short when a new species not detected before, landed on the planet, they arrived in large, cube-like ships and had huge masks that look like an anteater. They dressed in all black except the mask, the mask was all very light grey. Just then, some of the Horpions sprinted out of one of the huts dressed like warriors. The humans had gotten themselves in the midst of an interplanetary war of some kind, and now that they have been helping and bonding with the Horpions, they have made their first enemies.

These black and grey beings were called the Tonplings. The Tonplings were tall, skinny and greedy beings with very peculiar fashion sense. They were one of many who used less developed extra terrestrials as slaves. So clearly they were taking Horpions and using them as slaves. Behind the main Tonplings came a fleet of soldiers out of each ship. The Tonpling soldiers aimed their weapons at both the humans and Horpions. They didn’t see the humans as some new curious species, they saw the humans as an undeveloped entity and a new opportunity for new slaves. A horn blared throughout the village and in a flash a blood bath appeared before the humans eyes.

Gunfire flew through the sky, mutilated Horpions and beheaded Tonplings were scattered throughout the village. The probes drew their guns and shot their way out of the village, fleeing the village and entering their ship. For weeks the humans defended the Horpians with missiles and guns until all of the probes were shot down. The Tonplings overtook the ship and took the code. Now, the Tonplings had waged war on the humans.
