In the interim, Julie and Adam were looking for more information about Alexander Walf's book, 'Fire'. Julie suddenly recalled a curious incident from earlier in the day.

"Adam, do you remember that woman who was in the library this morning?" Julie asked, her brow furrowing in thought.

Adam looked up from his notes. "Which one? There were quite a few people around."

"The one with the blue scarf. She seemed really interested in the same section where we found the book," Julie explained.

Adam's eyes narrowed in concentration as he tried to remember. "Oh, right. I do remember her. She asked the librarian a lot of questions, didn't she?"

"Exactly," Julie confirmed. "And now that I think about it, she wasn't just looking at the books; she seemed to be searching for something specific."

"Do you think she might have been looking for 'Fire' too?" Adam asked, a hint of curiosity in his voice.

Julie nodded slowly. "It's possible. But what struck me as odd was how familiar she seemed with the author's name. She mentioned Alexander Walf like she knew him personally."

"Really?" Adam leaned in, intrigued. "Did she say anything else?"

"Not much," Julie replied, shaking her head. "But when she couldn't find what she was looking for, she seemed... frustrated, almost as if she was running out of time."

Adam frowned. "That is strange. Maybe she knows something about the book or the author that we don't."

"Exactly what I was thinking," Julie said, a determined look in her eyes. "We need to find out more about her. She might have the answers we're looking for."

Adam agreed. "Let's start by asking the librarian if she remembers anything about the woman. Maybe we can get some clues from there."

Julie smiled. "Good idea. Let's go."

With renewed purpose, they headed towards the librarian's desk, hoping to uncover the mystery surrounding the woman in the red scarf and her connection to Alexander Walf's enigmatic book, 'Fire'.

The mysterious woman slipped out of the library and found a secluded spot outside. Pulling out her phone, she dialed a number, her fingers moving swiftly over the screen.

"Hello? It's me," she said in a hushed tone, glancing around to ensure no one was listening in. "I've found it. The book. It's here, just as we suspected."

There was a pause as she listened to the voice on the other end. She nodded, even though the person couldn't see her.

"Yes, I'll keep an eye on it. But we need to act fast. They're onto something. I can feel it."

Another pause as she listened intently. And then she answered, "Don't worry. I'll handle it. Just be ready."

With that, she ended the call and slipped her phone back into her pocket, a determined look on her face.

The woman paused, her thoughts drifting to the enigmatic figure who had tasked her with this mission. "Why do you even need that book, you don't even read..." she muttered to herself, frustration lacing her voice. She shook her head, a mix of confusion and determination clouding her expression.

But deep down, she knew that her role was not to understand the purpose behind the tasks she was given. She was merely a pawn in a much larger game, one where the rules were dictated by powers beyond her comprehension.

With a resigned sigh, she tucked her phone back into her pocket and disappeared into the throngs of people, her steps purposeful as she moved through the streets, her mind already plotting her next move.
