Tanjiros POV:
"How did this happen? " I thought as I walked through the forest. "Nezuko, don't die. Please don't die. I will save you. Your big brother is definitely going to save you!" I said as I was carrying my unconscious little sister on my back.
*(Flashback)*
3rd person POV:
"Tanjiro!" Kie called out to her son as he turned around. "Your face is pitch-black." Kie said as her son, tanjiro, walked over to her. Kie then got on her knees, took a cloth, and started to clean Tanjiro's face. "You know you don't have to go. It's snowing and it is dangerous." She said while cleaning Tanjiro's face. " I want us to have a great New years feast, so I'll go sell as much charcoal as I can... Even if it's just a little." Tanjiro said as Kie, his mother, finished cleaning his face. "Thank you." Kie said as she smiled as her son, Tanjiro.
"Tanjiro, are you going to town today?" said Shigeru as he ran up to them with Hanako. "I wanna go too!" Said Hanako right behind Shigeru. "No, you can't walk fast like Tanjiro." Kie said as the two kids were standing there. "But mom!" Said the kids, Hanako and Shigeru. "No." said Kie as the two little ones begged. "He isn't taking the cart today. So he can't pull you when you're tired." Kie said as she knew they would get tired out from walking up and down the mountain. "Tanjiro, I know you can't do a lot, but cut a little wood today, okay?" Said Tanjiro as Takeo held his axe over his shoulder, looking at each other. "I will....but I was hoping we'd do it together." Said Takeo as he pouted.
"Be careful!" "Hurry back!" Yelled the kamado family as Tanjiro started to walk down the mountain. As Tanjiro stated walking, he ran into Nezuko and Rokuta, his younger sister and brother. "Tanjiro!" Called out Nezuko as she saw Tanjiro walking. "I was putting Rokuta to sleep." She said as she was holding Rokuta on her back. "Ever since dad died, he has been glued to your side." She said as Tanjiro walked over to them, placing his hand on Rokuta's head as he slept. Soon after, he started to continue walking down the mountain. "See you later!" Yelled Nezuko, Tanjiro waved as she spoke.
