"Fuck." She muttered to herself, biting her lip. Mancy shifted in her sleep, causing Lori to turn off her phone, and pretend to sleep. Mancy sat up, and wiped her eyes. Lori gave up her act.
"Mannie."
"Good morning to you too, Lori." She said, stretching out her tired limbs. Lori smiled awkwardly.
Lori thought about Jack's text again, when can I see you again? She couldn't believe he actually asked that.
The others tossed and turned. She just didn't think about it, and left him on read. Hopefully his heart wasn't broken like that.
Mannie reached for her candy, before realizing it was empty. She groaned in defeat, waking august up who was snuggled up next to her.
"Why'd you wake me up." He whined sleepily. Lori watched the scene unfold. Mannie looked down at him with a tired look.
"Because I'm hungry." She said, laying back down, with August's head on her hip. August just mumbled and went back to sleep.
Lori just grinned at the situation, she has been the biggest shipper of those two. August was practically drooling over her 24/7.
She quietly got up, and went upstairs, leaving her phone downstairs. Her kitchen was clean, as it always was. Well sometimes.
She eyed the cabinet with the snacks. She finally gave up and went over to it. The cabinet opened, and the smell of the snacks announced to her nostrils.
